When the facetime call connected Louis was met with the view of the ceiling fan and just the top of Rowan's head. Look closer she had her eyes tightly held shut. Honestly, she was scared of what she would find when she opened them. Although luckily she never had to experience this she knew that Amanda had to deal with many foul boys before. Although she in no way expected Louis to be like that, she figured better safe than sorry.
"Rowan, you can open your eyes"
She knew that voice.
"Now I definitely can't"
"And why is that?"
"Because, if I do, I may see Louis Partridge"
"And what's so wrong with that?"
"Because I told you I thought you were hot etc."
"A, you said pretty and B, if it helps you were less forward than most girls in my DM's"
Rowan slowly opened her eyes and she was met with exactly what she thought.

Rowan was freaking out right now. I mean how could she not. Her new friend that she has grown weirdly close to in the past few days turned out to be the boy she's had a crush on for months. And the worst part is she was talking to him about him. She had read over her messages 3 times looking for some extremely embarrassing text of her confessing her love.
Quickly she ran outside around the bush that separated her and Nova's yard. Rowan knocked on the door till it finally swung open. She grabbed novas hand and pulled her at a running pace over to Amanda's house, knocking even harder than she did on Nova's door.
Amanda opened the door. "Hey, you okay? What's wrong?" Rowan walked inside pulling Amanda and Nova towards Amanda's bedroom. Amanda's parents said a quick hello that nova and Rowan shortly replied.
Once Amanda's door closed and the three girls were shut into the room. Rowan told them everything. She told them about the playlist, the DM, the advice, and the girlfriend.
"Holy shit" Nova said chuckling. "Are you kidding?"
"Do I look like I'm frigging kidding? Yeah, I dragged out of your house and over here for a joke." Rowan replied in annoyance.
Nova shrugged and said, "I'm sorry, it's just you managed not only to get your celebrity crush to replied to your DM but it kinda sounds like you guys were flirty."
"Did you not hear the part about the girlfriend?" Rowan was clearly agitated at the moment. This information was just thrown at her. She thought she was just going to facetime her friend, and then she's just thrown for a loop.
The two girls then noticed that Amanda was oddly quiet during this whole thing. When Rowan look over at her she saw Amanda sitting with her jaw slacked open. After their eyes met Amanda broke out into laughter, causing Nova to laugh. "Rowan, you might be overreacting a little. Most girls would freak out if something like this happened to them. And who knows maybe you guys could become like great friends." Amanda finally spoke up.
Rowan began to think about it more. Maybe she did overreact, maybe they could be friends still. He does give great advice, and on the phone, he didn't seem to stress the whole part where she told him that she thought he was attractive. He was also really nice. Thinking about their conversations caused Rowan to begin to laugh along with the other girls. "Oh my god... I was so dramatic" she said in between laughs.

They found out. I wanted them to find out soon because they still have to go through the whole friends thing.
