Chapter 6: Making The Cut
“The test will begin. Ready-Set-GO!!”
Everyone dashed in to the tress and bushes except Naruto. Of course. I watched Kakashi from the tree around 3 metres away. I couldn’t see Simran anyway close, which was probably a good thing that she was hiding so well. When Naruto finally finished fighting with Kakashi and got stuck in a trap hanging foot first from the tree I was hiding in, a shuriken came flying out of the bushes. It was almost hit Kakashi sensei when he disappeared. I looked down at Naruto as he cut the rope holding him there. When it broke he fell and landed in another trap I giggled as he was just at square one again. I climbed down a few branches hung upside down and cut the rope again, he fell face first, I giggled again and climbed down. “Hey, Naruto you want to try and work together?”
As he got up he said “Nah that’s fine I can do it.” I nodded and ran towards the person that needed help next Sasuke. “As I thought” I said silently I looked down at Sasuke’s head and barley managed to stop my self from bursting out laughing at the fact that the rest of his body was under the ground. “Hey, you need any… ha ha ha… um… help.” He looked away after rolling his eyes at me and said “I’m fine I can do it my self.”
“Yeah, I can see that.” I giggled more. He struggled a little then I said “Are you sure you don’t want any help?”
“I’m fine just go.” He said with and angered tone. “Okay.” I ran off in search of Kakashi just when I thought I had no hope of finding him I found Simran and Kakashi fighting. “Simran you want help?”
“I can do it.” I looked at her as Kakashi used the conversation as a ‘go for it’ time. Simran crouched and kicked up into Kakashi’s jaw sending Kakashi into the air. “Okay now you can help.” I ran over and jumped up and kicked Kakashi back to the ground. As I landed on the ground the buzzer went off and I gave a huge grin along with Simran.
We walked over with Kakashi to the posts. 5 minutes later the others arrived and Simran and I sat on top of the posts. Kakashi spoke “well seeing none of you retrieved the bells I guess you are all going back to the academy.” I tried again to hold in my raging laughter but this time I didn’t succeed and found my self laughing along with Simran. Everyone stared at us and Kakashi asked “What’s so funny?”
“I think you should check your belt.” Simran said while holding in laughter. Kakashi looked down his eyes widened at the fact there was only 1 ball left. Simran and I swung the bells around our middle finger and smiled “How did you…When did you”
“While you were in the air..” Simran started
“I grabbed two bells before hitting you back to the ground.” I finished
“You were so distracted that Steph was behind you that it was the perfect time.” Simran added on smartly
Kakashi stared at us then sighed “Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura, Simran and Steph! You two might have got the bells but..”
