Chapter 12: Attacked

The next thing I heard was BANG!

I looked up only to see Kakashi torn to shreds in front of me “One down.” They said in a breathy voice. I sighed and pulled out a kunai and bent my knees waiting for the attack. Just as a loosened up a little one of the two ninja popped up behind me. I turned quickly and he swang his chains at me. I lifted my arm to block the chain, it rapped around my arm pulling me towards him. The other one appeared on the other side. “Two down.” He came towards me with his huge metal arm. I got ready to dodge Sasuke jumped in front of me and threw shuriken at one which pinned his chain to a tree he landed on there shoulders and kicked them back in to the head sending them flying back. They landed on there feet and one ran towards me again while the other headed in Tazuna’s direction. I stopped the guy that came towards me by intertwining my kunai into his metal claw. Simran kicked him sending flying into a near by tree. The next thing I know his been swept up by Kakashi along with the other one that headed in Tazuna’s direction. “Show off” I heard Sasuke whisper.

“Sorry I’m late.” Kakashi said while giving one of his closed eyes smiles. Kakashi chained the men to the same tree that Simran hit one of them into. “Sorry Naruto, I would have helped but i didn’t no you’d freeze up like that. Good job, Sasuke, Steph, Simran and Sakura.” *haha they all start with ‘S’*

“Hey Naruto, you alright... scaredy cat?” Sasuke said teasing Naruto

“Leave him alone would ya.” I said with out thinking while i walked towards the conversation with Kakashi sensei and the two men. “Sasuke!!” Naruto yelled out at him. Kakashi stopped him and let him know that the claws that scratched him were soaked in poison. “How did you read our movements.” One of the two guys said.

“A puddle in the middle of summer when I hasn’t rained in weeks, I mean even Steph and Simran noticed it.” Kakashi said. I turned to Simran and gave her a hi-5. Kakashi turned to Tazuna to talk to him about them coming after him. I turned off for a moment, and snapped back when after Naruto made his pledge. It had been over 2 hours and we had finally hit the mist. We hopped onto a boat and sailed through the thick mist of the wave country. When we reached land we hopped off the boat and started walking towards the hidden mist village, where the bridge was being built. Another 1 and a half later Naruto threw a kunai at a tree. Simran and I sweat dropped “What the hell Naruto?” Simran said we walked over to find a snow bunny twitching away scared. “Awww poor bunny I picked him up and patted him then let him run away happily. I then took the kunai out of the tree and tossed it at Naruto feet. I closed my eyes and sighed. “EVERYBODY DOWN!” Kakashi yelled out. I jumped up on to the tree branch as the Sword slashed the air and landed cut into a near by tree. I jumped down from the tree, great looks like Zabuza has arrived... just my luck.  Kakashi old us to protect Tazuna and then he when and fought Zabuza.

I turned to the now trembling Sasuke. He moved the kunai in his hand up right to his body... oh oh. “Sasuke!” Kakashi yelled. Here to save the day again. “Calm down. I will not let my comrades die.” He loosened up a little. With out a moment’s response Zabuza appeared behind us breaking our protection over Tazuna.  Kakashi stabbed the water clone and started the fight around an hour later Kakashi had beaten up Zabuza till he was pinned to tree by water. “How is it... can u see the future?”

“Yeah you’re going to die here!” Kakashi answered back. Just as Kakashi went in for the kill needles came and stabbed Zabuza in the neck leaving him laying dead on the ground.  A tracking ninja took him and left. Well that went faster then expected. “Bang!” what no not another ban- “Kakashi sensei are you okay?” I said as we all stared as his body fell to the ground leaving dirt clouds rise. Sasuke and I carried Kakashi back to Tazuna’s house to rest.

“I guess he use up quite a bit with the sharingan wouldn’t you say.” I asked trying to stop the awkward silence and tension in the room. “Probably.” Simran said trying to do the same thing as me. We both hate silence. Obviously the small talk didn’t work because the only reaction was “hmmmmm.” And a yawn from Naruto. We both sighed this is going to be a long few days.
