'Why is it that we always end up in the library at the same time literally every fucking day?'
Standing exactly six meters from Namjoon was a frustrated Seokjin, the reason clearly visible to Namjoon as he ate his snack. The sunshine hit his nape as he munched, Seokjin standing there still, occasionally giving glances to Namjoon's food. A yellow sweatshirt covered Seokjin's lean body and tight pants hugged his thighs. The fit looked good on him, and Namjoon couldn't help but stare at him in awe as the two men rested in the library alone.
Namjoon's tiny voice sputtered. 'I don't know...'
Seokjin stared at Namjoon for a few seconds and then walked towards Namjoon and sat beside him.
'Eating in the library is not allowed.' Seokjin said as he crossed his arms. Namjoon gave him a shrug with a blank face.
'What are you eating? Give me some.'
Namjoon glared at Seokjin and handed him the biscuits. The two of them sat below the window, neither of them speaking anything, just the sound of cracking of the biscuits filling the library.
Seokjin frowned. 'Mmh, they're tasty.'
'You know what, give me all of that. You don't deserve them for ruining the ending of that book.'
Seokjin snatched the packet of biscuits and ate them hurriedly as if someone was about to come. Namjoon's gaze remained at the blank table which stood in front of them. He mindlessly looked around until the latter was finished and turned his head to look at Seokjin. The earring which he was wearing hung loosely from his ear. The gold earring reflected the small peak of sunshine that entered from the small part of the half-opened window. Namjoon raised his hand to touch it.
'You have a pretty earring.'
Seokjin looked at namjoon with narrow eyes and hit his hand.
'Don't touch it!'
Namjoon gave him a frown.
Seokjin got up and rolled down his sleeves. 'The biscuits were nice. Bring them every time we meet at the library.'
'Excuse me? I just happened to accidentally spoil the ending. Why should I bring you the biscuits my mom made?' Namjoon bit back.
'Your mom made that? You should tell her they're tasty. And,'
Namjoon raised his eyebrow.
'You don't have any reason to bring the biscuits. I just...like them.'
As Seokjin said that, he obtrusively walked away from Namjoon with a hand on his wrist.
He's going already?
Namjoon tiled his head. 'Seokjin!'
Seokjin turned his head in an instant.
'Why do you keep rolling down your sleeves? Are you hiding your wrists or something?' Namjoon giggled at the last question.
The questions were unanswered but a pale Seokjin was now looking at Namjoon with shaky eyes.
'There's no reason for that.' Were his last words before he walked out of the library with fast steps.
