'What are you doing?'
Hands on the table, Namjoon looked at the boy sitting beside him, who was peacefully reading a book. It was almost four in the afternoon and the whole school building had a strange quietness to it. today was a holiday and Namjoon had woken up before Jungkook (OH MY GOD WHO'S THERE? Oh Namjoon hyung. Sorry for hitting you with the bat I thought you were an intruder.), taken a walk of the whole premises, slept again for sometime, eating from the cafeteria, spied on the shady cat which had started living in front of his window ever since he had come. After doing all of this he had ended up in the library just like always and since today wouldn't be any different, he wasn't surprised to see Seokjin sitting in front of him with a book in his hands.
'Nothing.' Seokjin said without breaking his gaze from the book.
'You're not doing nothing. You're reading a book.'
'Then why did you ask if you already knew?'
'Isn't that the whole point of it? Asking what you're doing even though you know what you are.'
'That's what amateurs do.'
'Am I an amateur?'
'Amateur?' Seokjin took some time before answering. 'No...you're...you're just dumb.'
'That's mean.'
'I was never trying to be nice.'
'What are you gonna do after this?'
'Go to Hubbs and Bubbs and eat jangjangmyeon.'
'Can I come too?'
'No.'
'Please?'
'Leave me alone.'
'I would be alone if I leave you alone.'
'Why can't you talk to your roommate? Jungkook, right? Go play with him.'
'I'm not a kid to 'go play with him.' And he's already hanging out with his friends.'
'His friends? Aren't they your friends too?'
'I mean yeah, but it's not as if I've known them for a year or something. We're still awkward.'
'You haven't known me for that long either.'
'Well, that's true, but I feel as if I've known you for a decade.'
'Oh, come one, you don't even know when I was born.'
'Of course I know that,'
'Then tell me, when was I born?'
'Four December.'
'Wait, how do you know that? I've never told you.'
'I...I might have sort of stalked your Instagram account.'
'You've been stalking me? Wow, there's no way I'm gonna take a stalker on lunch.'
'Please, who doesn't do that? You're telling me you haven't even checked my account?'
'I haven't opened Instagram since two years.'
'Wait, for real?'
No answered was received, and Seokjin still kept did not break his gaze from the book.
'If you take me,' Namjoon said.
'I will pay for the food.'
At this Seokjin turned his head in an instant. 'Woah, really?'
'Uh-uh.'
'But, I have a question.' Namjoon asked with a sly expression.
'What were you doing in that photo where you were showing your face and had a caption written, 'Daddy I'm ready'?'
