S.H.E.I.L.D Compound

Natasha POV

I have been with S.H.E.I.L.D for two years. I know the compound like the back of my hand, I have been able to note all the weaknesses and where the camera's aren't. I am very lucky that Fury has so much trust in me, I am able to tell him things that are wrong with what is going on, whether it be a mission or just about the compound.

It has been a crazy few years, Clint, Hawkeye, has gotten married and is expecting his first child. Me and Fury helped with the safe house for his family, as long as I get to be a aunt. It was the closest thing I was going to get to having children. You see, that was what she was trying to tell me when she left, at sixteen in the Red Room, they rip your innards out, so we are never able to have a family of our own.

Of course, after i left the Red Room I did try to seek her out, but she was just so damn hard to find. It was like she got a new name and a new identity, there was no Maya Smirnoff anymore. I never knew what happened after she let the ballet studio, all I can remember was  that my stability had left, I went to be a cold, hard bitch. I did ask Madame B what happened, but that resulted me in a back hand across the face and isolation.

I have thought about trying to find her again, now being in S.H.E.I.L.D, but I wouldn't even know what I would do. My heart tells me to run up to her and just be thankful, but my head says slap the shit out for her for leaving me in that horrible place, then when I think of that I also say to myself, well it wasn't really her choice. I am very conflicted.

I look at myself in the mirror of my bathroom, my red hair longer than it has been in a while, I was waiting on my curling tong to heat up. All this thinking about her again has made me need a stiff drink and there is only one place in New York that sold the good premium Russian Vodka.

The Widow

Yeah, I know, I have a thing for the corny, but it is true, it does have good Vodka. Clint is with his wife at the safe house so no one here will probably want to come with me. I try my hardest to think of the women who everyone calls "Fury's Lesbians", yes, Clint is the only man I would go to a club with, but he isn't here.

I try my hardest to try and think of the women while curling my hair. Usually Clint is there to fight off the men for me, not that I don't need the help, I just want the company, it's pretty shit going to club on your own and I am not a creepy forty year old man.

I am finally done with my hair and get dressed in a skin tight black thigh high dress with black 'fuck me' pumps. I leave my room and walk straight into someone.

"Oh my god, I am so sorry." I hear, I look up and see just the person I wanted.

"You!" I forcefully say, "You're the one that is training under Fury aren't you?"

I watch as she rolled her eyes, "I have a name you know."

I rub the back of my neck with me hand and look down, "I know you do, I am sorry, I have been trying for half an hour to remember your name."

She smiles slightly, "It's Maria, Maria Hill and may I ask why you were thinking of me?"

"Oh, nothing creepy honestly, I was wondering if you wanted to come to a club?" I answer, feeling like an idiot.

I watch as the brunette nods, "I could go clubbing, where are you thinking?"

Natasha POV

Me and Maria trail through the hoards of people, holding onto each others hands, trying to get to the bar. The music was pulsing through the room, the room itself was warm, almost too warm, but bar tenders were all glistening with sweat and clad only in their bras and shorts, so I am assuming it was done on purpose.

"Maybe if i took my top off, I'll be able to slip closer to the actual bar." Maria yelled into my ear, a slight shiver going down my spine. "Actually maybe you should do it, you have a bigger bust than me, these men will fawn over you."

"Apparently not just the men." I stated, my right eyebrow  raise, as I looked behind me to Maria, who was obviously looking down my dress. I hear Maria mumble a sorry, while something caught my eye. I had seen a blonde, who I knew from the S.H.E.I.L.D Compound, she was on the upper level, walking into what looked a VIP room or an office. I nudge Maria and pointed up to make sure she saw what I saw.

"It's Carol Danvers, Captain Marvel, she knows the owner. Rumour has it that her friend is very protected by Fury, nobody knows who she is." Maria said into my ear, as I continue to look at the room.

"If she is so protected, why isn't she at the Compound?" I asked, finally being able to move a little closer to the bar.

"Top secret mission." Maria answered, shrugging her shoulders. She moved passed me, able to get a space by the bar finally, "What do you want?"

"Beer," I see Maria's eyebrows raise, "And ten shots of vodka, I do not want to remember tonight!" I yell, laughing.

"Go up to the next level and see if you can score some seats, I'll meet you up there." Maria said, taking out cash to pay for the order.

I nod and dance through the crowd to the next level, I stopped a few times to punch some grabby hands in the balls. I got half way and couldn't help but get lost into the music, I swayed and dance with the music, with random people around.

I feel someone come up behind me, running their hands up my thighs, they were soft, definitely a woman

I feel someone come up behind me, running their hands up my thighs, they were soft, definitely a woman. I turn around, placing my arms around the slim neck of an older brunette woman, her features were beautiful. She smirked at me and moved her hands from my hips and around to my ass, gripping tightly, making me fall into her.

"I could not resist you, Red. I know you only just came in, so if you wanna, when you're finished with your friend, find me in room six." She said huskily in my ear, "I will be waiting."  She nipped my ear and left me in the crowd, as the song ended, my breathe caught in my throat.

I compose myself and push my way towards the stairs, running up them and seeing Maria sitting at a table, practically over the dance floor, where I just was. I sat down in front of Maria with a huff.

"Never struck you as a lady lover, Romanoff." Maria smirked, sipping on her beer.

"I'm not, she just caught me off guard." I answered, I saw she raised her right eyebrow in disbelief, I scowled at her and proceed to shot back five of the ten Vodka shots.

"What you just did," the brunette said, pointing to the empty shot glasses, "says a hell of a lot different." I glare at her, she holds her hands up in surrender and proceeds to follow me in downing the five shots of Vodka. She lifts her beer bottle towards me, "Here's to a night we wont remember."

I lift my beer bottle and tap hers , "A night we wont remember."
