After the small chat they had, Louis immediately fell asleep in Liam's soft bed. Liam, not wanting to make Louis uncomfortable, slept on his couch.
Louis woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon, feeling well-rested for the first time in a while.
"Morning sleepy head," Liam said when Louis opened his eyes.
"Morning. What's that smell?"
"I made you breakfast," Liam beams.
Louis stares at the tray of food that's in Liam's hands.
"Wha- why?" Louis asks in surprise. "Not that I'm not thankful, I just don't understand."
Liam's smile falls a little. "Well, I doubt you've had a proper meal in a while. You deserve something with proper nutrition."
"Thank you, Liam. Seriously," Louis says with as much sincerity as he can muster.
"Thank me by eating up. Today's gonna be a long day of packing and moving."

Louis really didn't have that many things on him. He had some of Zayn's art pieces - mostly paintings, and a few nice sculptures - most of them free, and a few that he insisted to pay for. All of the supplies he used to take care of the horses were in a Supply Closet practically the same size as his "house". (He's wondered a few times if this actually used to be a Supply Closet, but ended up getting cleared out).
All of his clothes were in two piles on the ground (that was grass, not wood). The piles were clean and dirty (he washed all his clothes in a nearby river, not being able to afford anything else). And aside from that, there was nothing but dust and a few spider webs. Plus the abundant amount of bugs that Louis learned to live with (as well as the occasional rat or mouse).
"Sorry for the mess," Louis said as Liam and him walked in.
Liam takes in the small area with a frown on his face.
"Oh come on! You don't have to look at it like it's a garbage site," Louis scoffs, crossing his arms.
"Sorry, sorry. It's just... No one should have to live like this," Liam says firmly.
"Well, technically I'm not going to be living like this anymore," Louis shrugs, moving over to his "bed".
"I think I brought too many boxes," Liam says as he sets down the boxes he brought to pack Louis' things.
"I told you I didn't have many things," Louis reminds him.
"I thought you were exadurating!"
The two of them pack up Louis' things, talking lightly while doing so.
"Oh, by the way, the Queen wants to see you in the Discussion Room before you move in to the floor they give you. She wants to tell you a few things she forgot to mention about your agreement before."
Louis sighs. "Alright."

"So, Louis, how are you feeling?" the Queen asks as he sits across from her.
