I just want to say
It was SO FREAKING HARD NOT TO WRITE NOTES AT THE END OF EACH CHAPTER

I wanted this to be a fic that you could just read all at once without disruption, so I decided not to include author's notes. I think that also helped set the tone of a "serious" book (not that I consider this a book)

I just want to explain a few things

The ending:

The last chapter is basically a time skip. It's 5 years after Harry proposed to Louis. They have a daughter Caralyn who just turned 4, and a son Daxton who's 1 and a half. Louis is currently pregnant again.

I wanted to have the ending be something along the lines of "oh I can't believe he used to be mean," so that's what I made. I hope you like it

I'm sorry if this all seemed really short. Believe me, I tried to write long chapters, but it was really hard to add other details. I just wanted to write the whole thing all at once, which make the chapters short so I could get to the next thing

It's a problem of mine that I'm struggling to fix, but I hope you don't mind too much

My notes:

Before writing this fic, I wrote a serious of note pages

Basically, I had a page where I wrote the plot, and other pages where I included anything else that might be important

For example, I had a "brain mush" note that honestly doesn't have anything useful. I just wrote down anything I was thinking while writing the fic, but I didn't use it a whole lot

I also had a "death" note that thoroughly explains Louis' parents' death. I can publish that one if you'd like

I also had a "flowers" note. And, well, you'll see what that is
