Finally I can go home. There's kids everywhere. This school is so overpopulated. I go to my car. "Give me all your money right now!" He pushed me against the car. He has a gun.. "Where's your wallet?" I just stared not knowing what to say. "Give me this." He took my purse and looked in it.
He grabbed the money and my phone.. "This all the money?" I just nodded. "Alright." He looked at me. "Give me that."
"What?"

"The ring and the fucking necklace!" I cried as I took them off. He ran off and I sat on the ground and cried.

Dallas pov.
Paris called and told me Devine didn't come pick them up. Where is she? She won't even pick up her phone. Hopefully she's just staying late at the school. But I'm gonna go up there. "River you're in charge I'll be back."

"Okay." I get in my car and drive up to the school. Is that her? I park beside her and got out. "Babe?" She had her head down. "What happened baby?" She didn't say anything. "Let's go home then." I picked her up.

She just went upstairs without saying anything to anyone. She won't even talk to me. "What's wrong with mommy?'

"She's not feeling well. You guys come eat." I put Jordan in his rocker. I fed him when I got home. "You guys don't mess with him. I'm going upstairs." I go up to our room. "Hey babe. Please tell me what happened."

"Some student robbed me.."

"What?"

"He had a gun."

"What did he take?"

"My phone, the money in my purse, and my necklace and ring you got me."

"You quit tomorrow."

"But Dallas-."

"No De. You were robbed. What else could've happened? You quit tomorrow and we're not talking about it anymore." I sigh.

Back to Devine
I go on his office. "Good morning." I give him the letter. He read over it. "You're quiting? What? Why?"

"A student robbed me yesterday. They were armed."

"Wait Devine let's work something out. We need you. You actually do something. A student praised you to me yesterday."

"I understand but I'm not safe. If you can't fix it then I have to go."

"I'll do something. Devine you have to stay. I'll replace everything you lost."

"No. It's fine. My jewelry set was over three hundred dollars. I don't want you to pay for it."

"What else did you lose?"

"My phone which was over two hundred. "

"Let me get your phone back at least."

"Okay I guess. I also lost about fifty dollars. "

"Okay. Can you just work today?"

"I guess. But I'm leaving early so I won't risk anything."

"Okay."

I go to my office. "Good morning."

"Hi Miss. You're late today."

"I'm... I'm quiting today."

"Why?"

"I was robbed. My boyfriend wants me to quit and I've thought about it so today's my last day. "

"Miss. I need you. Who else could I talk to?"

"I don't know, I'm sorry." We went in. "Have you decided?"

"Yes, I decided to not have the baby because of Jaquelin. I don't want him to have to deal with a baby and I don't know if I really want to either. We talked yesterday and he told me what you told him. I don't want his parents to be mad at him or for him to possibly have to dig up money and then for me I would have to miss a lot of school and then after I would definitely have to miss a lot. I would need money too for a babysitter and some things for the baby. My mom will just buy like a crib and maybe a baby tub. Oh by the way, did you print some things out for me."
