I am a book,
No one dared to look.
Dressed in dust,
Hands turned away in disgust.

You came and grabbed me.
Finally, someone picked me.
Dusted my covers,
Starts to read my letters.

My story is not the nicest,
Page after page you lost interest.
Put me back on the shelf;
I know this is where it ends.

Abandoned in this shelf.
Surrounded by books like gems.
Constantly competing with them,
How can I make you pick me again?
