Awake Again

You opened your eyes to a dimly lit room. You attempted to brush the hair out of your face, but realized your hands were tied. In fact, you were in shackles upright against a cold stone wall. You looked around the room, it was a bare room with no furniture other than a metal chair that was only a couple feet from you and your wall. The room had several stone pillars with candle holders, holding candles, each one lit. The way the light flickered gave you chills. You were quiet, the only sound to be heard was your own shaky breaths. For some reason you felt that something was coming. You now had now control over your rising fear of which had quickly escalated. After what felt like 10-15 minutes, you heard a lock turn, then a door open and close. Then you heard the footsteps, descending the stairs one. step. at. a. time.

You began to panic, the fear of not knowing what is going to happen next, and if the person you'll see will be the last. Your breaths were shallow and sharp, alerting the person that you were awake.

"I see that you're awake now."

You squinted in the light trying to make out the dark, tall silhouette walking towards you in the dim light. You made out the figure as tall, thin, and the posture immaculate. The figure stepped into the more lightly lit space in front of you.

Once again...Sebastian

You stared at him dumbfounded, but then remembering he was the one who you last saw before you blacked out. You wondered what he did to you while you were out. But even more, why in the first place?

"You're probably wondering where you are right now. And why you're here. It's simple, the young master has simply asked me to ask you a few questions, then you can go free." He finished with a small nod of assurance.

You couldn't believe it, after all the innocent play you have done, you still were deemed suspicious. Even after knowing everything there possibly is to know about Sebastian and Ciel, you were still caught. You were so immersed in your thoughts; you didn't hear Sebastian speak.

"I will ask again... Where did you come from?" Sebastian said once more, leaning in towards your face, staring you dead in the eyes, his red eyes piercing your gaze.

"I-...," you decided to lie...what could go wrong with lying to a demon? "I come from a humble town from the east of the city. I have been a servant my whole l-life."

Sebastian didn't move, his eyes stayed locked on yours, his face unreadable.

What was I thinking?! There's no way I can lie to a demon and get away with it! No way at all! How stupid of me to think that...I don't even know the consequences for lying to a demon...What is Sebastian going to do?-...

Your thoughts were cut off by Sebastian's voice, "Ah funny to say that, because the information I have gathered on you says otherwise. From a report sent to the yard, it stated that you were found in a lake by an Earl named, Winston. He was the owner of a food company but ran into complications and passed about a month or so ago." Your breath caught in your throat.

No one knew about his death; I was the only one who did! So how does Sebastian know?!

"So, I will ask you once more, where do you come from?" Sebastian's tone of voice was more than serious, it was on the edge of dangerous.

You decide not to tell him about being from somewhere far from England, and instead decided to only tell a half truth.

"I-...I come from a humble home, in which I was abducted...I escaped, but ended up falling into a lake-" You were cut off by a sharp pain in your stomach. You gasped; all your breath having let you. You looked down at your stomach, there was a...butter knife?-...lodged into your stomach, blood beginning to bleed onto your uniform.
