LETIZIA'S POV
*Flashbacks*
"Don't go there, Leti! I'm telling you if something bad happens, I will never rescue you and help you to cover for mom and dad". Leo said, pinning his eyes on the game on the television.
"I will be quick! I will just grab a few things there really really quickly!". I answered while putting on my sandals.
"No! I said no! can't you just understand what is the meaning of that word?!". He started to get angry.
I'm on my way to go with Yvette and the other girls to go to the popular café that we saw on the internet. We've been planning this one for a very long time but we always don't have the same schedule, but now that we have and we are complete I can't go since it's already 7 pm and it is past my curfew.
"I know the meaning of that! and please lower your voice!". I shouted back.
"If even something hap-"
"Nothing will happen! Hyung! Just let it slide". I begged to my brother.
"The moment you step your foot outside the door, I will call dad and tell him". He paused the game and picked up his phone.
"On my count, go and change your clothes there and sleep". He added.
"Why am I bringing this up to you? I'm literally older than you-"
"Yeah for like 15 minutes and that doesn't mean you have the authority to act like an older person than me". I cut him off and replied.
"So you want to start that argument? are you even ready?". I rolled my eyes.
"Can't you understand that my friends are waiting for me?! I'm running late! let me go!". I yelled, I'm really pissed right now!
"Then go! if something happened don't you ever-"
"I'm calling Abuela". I walked, turned my back and got my phone. I quickly dialed Abuela's number.
"Abuela~". I said as soon as she picked it up.
"Oh? what is it? why are you calling this late? aren't you supposed to be sleeping now?". I facepalm myself.
"Abuela, shush~ I'm planning to go out with my friends to go to the famous café we saw online but hyung doesn't want me to go". I turned around to face my brother.
"Oh, so you even find your compliance?". He chuckled, I threw the pencil on the table to him.
"Why? you should go now, it's getting late. Where is your brother? And for God sake stop calling your brother like that, it should be oppa not hyung. If that hear your 할머니 she would probably be angry with the two of you...". I heard a loud sigh from her in the other line.
"That's not the issue here, abuela. Talk to him to let me go, I'm running late". I faked sobbed.
"Okay, okay, give him the phone". I quickly handed it to my brother.
"Leo~ Mijo, let your sister go. If you are worried that something might happen then drop her off to that stop then pick her up after". I heard abuela too since I clicked the speaker button before I gave it to Leo.
"Abuela it's really late now and in a few minutes, dad and mom will be here". I keep on rolling my eyes everytime he talks.
"I know, you can accompany her if you are really that worried". I smile once Leo scratches his neck, I already know what's next.
"Okay fine, but I will not drop her off there. I'm doing something".Yes! He finally gave up.
"That's fine but for her safety pick her up after". Abuela added.
"No, Abuela I'm fine! That's enough that he let me go". I chuckled and got my phone in his hand.
"Abuela, thank you so much! I really, really love you! You are my favorite abuela in the world!". She laughed as soon as she heard that.
"Stop your sweet talk, just go and go home quickly. Call your brother if something happened and please! don't fight as is you are not twins". After a couple of talking or should I say nagging from abuela, we bid goodbye and I get ready to go out.
"Don't blame me if mom grounded you for the whole week". I heard Leo say before I opened the door.
"Whatever". I said and walked out of the house.
I headed to the bus stop and got in when the bus arrived. A few minutes later, I finally reached where we planned to meet.
I saw the three of them, I ran to quickly get there.
"I'm so sorry, I'm late". I said while catching my breath for a little bit.
"We already guessed what your reason is". Yvette said and get up, we followed her.
"Your twin brother". Hyewon and Jeehye said in unison.
"Yeah, it's him. I need to go back home immediately, so let's go or else I'll be grounded". I said and pulled them towards the café.
We got our order and sat down outside of the café since this is what we went for, the view, the ambiance and the instagramable café.
"Did you know what happened at the competition in the *** University? I heard there's a controversial issue in that school". Hyewon started the conversation after she looked at her phone.
"Oh! yeah, I heard about that but I don't know what exactly the issue is". Yvette replied then sipped on her drink.
"I think I heard that too from hyung. I think Heeseung's team is the one who reports it". I replied and bit on the bread.
"They said that there was manipulation that happened during the competition, but the university is denying it. I heard one of the other teams is the son of the school's owner". As expected, Hyewon knows all the details.
"Really? don't expect so much from that, you already know what will happen. The school will definitely defend themselves just to save the son of the school's owner". Jeehye said, she really has no interest in it.
My phone suddenly rang, I looked at the screen and flashed my brother's name. I picked it up.
"What?". I asked as soon as I placed it on my ear.
"Mom texted me that they will be here in just an hour! you better go home now or you are dead!". If I can just throw him a pillow through the screen, I probably did that without hesitation.
"We just got here--"
