"O-oh my god...". My legs can't take it anymore, I bend down still crying.
"Leo...". The name that I didn't know I will miss this much.
"Yah~ why are you crying?". He chuckled when he heard me.
"Leo...". I don't know where to start, I'm too shocked for this.
"I woke up and you are not here? I thought you loved me?". I really don't know how to keep this conversation going.
"Don't just cry there- she's just crying, mom!". I then heard my mom's voice just laughing in the background.
"I want to go home...". I didn't expect that too to come out of my mouth.
"Why? Is there something happening? Is someone bullying you?". I miss my brother.
"No. I'm supposed to be there when you wake up and yet I'm here far away from all of you". I finally calmed down but my tears were still streaming.
"Aish, no need. I want to personally call you and tell you that I'm all awake now. I finally beat you! I slept 1 year and you can just sleep 20 hours!". We can't help but laugh at his dark joke. I heard Mom yell at Leo because of it.
"You should at least text me first, not like this! I look like a crazy woman here". I sniffled.
"Then good! you look like a scandalous woman-"
"Do you want me to put you to sleep again?!". I dry my tears and get up. I found an available seat.
"Since when did you wake up?". I asked ince I got seated.
"Just a week ago-"
"And yet y'all didn't inform me?!". I've started to question myself if I belong to this family.
"There's something that we have to tell you". Oh come on, I hate these words.
"Don't say it, I already know that it's not good so just keep it later before we end the call". I stopped him before another round of tears came.
"How's your health? What about mom and dad? abuela?". I asked continuously.
"Whoo, ask one by one". After a year, I finally heard his voice.
"For my health, I'm all cleared now. I finally got discharged from the hospital and I'm at the casa now. It's really a miracle that nothing happened to all of my organs". He laughed.
We talked for a couple of minutes.
I missed my brother so much...
"I want to go home now that you're awake". I said suddenly.
"Just wait for another month, just finish that program then come home. Is everything alright there?". I nodded, I remembered that he couldn't see it.
