Retribution

Lan zhan woke up as usual at 5 a.m . He looked around the room in search of one person who nowhere seemed to be seen in the room.
He quickly went towards the door to look for him.  He can't afford to lose that person. Never again.

He tried to open the door but failed. Even with his strong arm strength he couldn't open the door.
He then slowly again went towards the bed in defeat.

After few minutes the door opened and wei ying came with a tray of food with him.
His eyes softened seeing the person.

Wei ying,"good morning Lan zhan. How was your sleep?"

Listening the voice Lan zhan's soft eyes again turned into cold ones.
Lan zhan,"fine."

Wei ying went near the table and kept the tray of food.

Wei ying,"Come have breakfast."

Lan zhan went near the table and sat down. Then he started eating.
Wei ying,"Lan zhan you are quite obedient today. Probably you have guessed that I am good person. "
Saying this wei ying gave Lan zhan a warm smile.

Lan zhan didn't said anything but continued eating.
The breakfast went quietly as none of then spoke.

Lan zhan,"can we talk?"

Wei ying,"Lan zhan why are you asking such a question? Have I stopped you from talking."

Lan zhan sighed listening this.
Lan zhan,"Can you tell me about yourself ?"

Listening the question the person's eyes filled with sadness. But in few seconds he again returned into his carefree expression.

Wei ying," Why you wanna know about it? I don't have anything good to tell about myself. "

Lan zhan, " I miss wei ying. I want him back."

The person stared at Lan zhan for a while. Then he said while adverting his gaze from him,
"I am not sure if I will give him to you back or not . One thing what I can tell you Lan zhan is you also need me right."

Lan zhan,"what do you mean?"

Wei ying,"look Lan zhan. You cannot protect wei ying  from the cultivation world. Even if you try to prove his innocence you will have to find evidence. Till that time the world will already get him killed. You are not powerful enough to fight the whole cultivation world.
But wei ying will be alive as long as I am in his body."

Lan zhan, "Two souls cannot be in one body for long. The weak will eventually die."

Wei ying," I know Lan zhan. That's why I give wei ying control sometimes. If both the souls will be active and they won't fight to make each other leave they can reside in one body for a very long time. "

Lan zhan,"But wei ying tries to make you leave."

Wei ying,"hmm,he does that frequently. But that won't matter as I don't try to make him leave and I am stronger than him. So there is no problem. "

Lan zhan,"okay."

Lan zhan stared at the person examining him carefully.
Then he asked a question and he wasn't sure to get answer.
Lan zhan,"How you died?"

Listening this the person started laughing
Lan zhan very confused. This question was not funny at all.
Wei ying said while clenching  stomach,
Wei ying,"aaaiya,Lan zhan you really make me laugh sometimes."

Lan zhan asked in a serious tone,"was it funny?"

Then wei ying stopped laughing.
He said in a sad tone,
" It might be not funny for others but for me it is funny. Because the reason of my death is funny. So funny. When your loved ones betray you and kill you for a stupid reason it seems funny. I don't want to share it with anyone. I don't want others to laugh at my death."

Though the latter one was trying to act cool he could feel that their was deep sadness in his voice. He decided not to ask any further because he was sure that he won't get an answer and also he don't want to make the latter sad.

"Axian I never blamed you."

The words made Jiang Cheng feel a deep pain in his heart.
Jiang Cheng,'does shijie really doesn't blame him for all this? Does she wanted to say this to wei wuxian at never night. No it can't be true. He killed shijie. I will never forgive him.'

The crowd was shocked by yanli's words.
No one said anything. They were looking at the three jiangs infront of them.

Wei wuxian said in a cracked voice holding her hand,
"Shijie."
Tears were continuously flowing from his eyes as his sister was dying in front of him.
Slowly yanli closed her eyes and her body went cold.
Seeing this wei wuxian screamed loudly. He was completely broken. His red eyes filled with multiple emotions.
He slowly stood up and looked at the crowd with angry eyes.
That look made them shiver in fear.

While looking at the crowd he said,
"You killed my shijie."
It was not a question but a statement.
Ofcourse this statement was not understood by most of the people as they knew that wei wuxian was responsible for all this.
But two people in the crowd were nervous.

"Why?"

"Why?"

"Why"

Wei wuxian yelled making everyone tremble.

Then all of sudden the dead yanli opened her eyes. She stood up and went near wei ying.
At this point many among the crowd wanted to run. But they didn't had courage to do that as it was dark without any source of light expect that tailsman. Also they didn't know what danger they will encounter if they are separated from the group.

Yanli came near wei ying and said with a pleading voice,
"Axian revenge for me. I want revenge. They killed me and my husband."

Wei wuxian caressed her cheeks lovingly and said  in a soft voice
"No worries shijie. I promise. I will give you justice. Go with Jiang Cheng for now."

Yanli nodded and went back and disappeared in darkness with Jiang Cheng.
Wei wuxian again looked at the crowd after his sister went away
with red angry eyes and said,
"It's time for retribution."
