Wei ying groaned when he felt rays of light coming on his face.
He turned to the other side and continued sleeping.
Suddenly he felt a warm kiss on his forehead.

"Wei ying, wake up . It's 9 am .
You need to have your breakfast. "

"Lan zhan let me sleep more. We were up till four and you made me so tired."

Lan zhan sighed and looked at the sleeping figure with loving eyes.

His love looked with sunlight falling on his white skin.
He went near the window and closed the curtain.

"OK you can sleep a bit more. There is still some time left for ayuan's competition "

As soon as he finished his sentence he saw his love already disappeared in the bathroom.

He chuckled seeing his cute reaction.

After sometime he heard Wei ying shout from inside,
"Lan zhan pass me my clothes."

"Okay ,Wei ying"

He took Wei yings clothes and went inside bathroom
Wei ying was inside the bathtub with only his head above water.

" Lan zhan look what you did. How am I going to go in ayaun's competition today."
Wei ying came out of water a little so that only his collarbone and shoulders were visible.
His neck was filled with red marks.

Wei ying looked at lan zhan for some time with a serious face then started to laugh holding his stomach as Lan zhan looked like being guilty for some serious crime.

"Lan zhan it's so much fun to tease you. Look at your face"
A splash of water came on Lan zhan's face.

" Wei ying I already took bath."

"I know Lan er gege but now you are wet again . Why don't you join me."

They both came out of bathroom after half hour and Lan zhan neatly tied Wei yings hairs with red ribbon.

They both had their breakfast and then went to see their sons competition .

Ofcourse ayuan was the future king but still Wei ying and Lan zhan wanted him to be trained like any normal child.
They wanted to make sure that ayuan was their future king not because he inherited it but because he is capable.

So today was a competition in heavenly realm where the kids of 14-16 years were being selected who would we further trained by the best teachers of heavenly realm to become higher officials of heavenly realm.

The competition will be held outside the heavenly realm. A place where normal people feared to go. Its was place where people who committed crimes were thrown.
It had several dangerous creatures.
Mystical animals, ghosts, revengeful spirits, demons and sometimes angels too. It was a deadly place and there was no guarantee that the kids were going to return alive or not.

Ayaun was already waiting in the competition ground for his parents .
As soon as his eyes fell on Wei ying ran towards them and hugged them.

" mama"

"How many times I told you not to call me that you little Bart."

Ayuan just giggled in response

Wei ying," be careful to not get yourself hurt ayuan , this competition will teach you so many things,  Lan zhan and I will be waiting for you and when you will come I will keep tasty food prepared by myself , you are lucky to have food prepared by Wei wuxian itself"

Wei ying announced with a proud smile

But what he missed was the panicked look of his son
Lan zhan,"mn Wei ying cooks delicious food"

After their little interaction and Wei Ying and lan zhan finally bid goodbye to their little raddish

Time skip

Ayuan was the first one to complete the challenge and proved himself  worthy to king of heavenly realm

Finally Wei ying could take  retirement
He looked at the sky as some red bits of light came to his hand
"Mey lian ayaun is now the king , you can be at ease, I promise to protect him till my last breath "

There was celebration in heavenly realm

Wei ying had his head on Lan zhan's lap as they both were on a tree branch with moonlight falling on them and lan zhan running his fingers through Wei Ying's hairs

Suddenly Lan zhan pressed a soft kiss Wei Ying's forehead and said
"Wei ying , I love u"
He was returned with a cheeky smile and a reponse of I love u too and another response which made him red
" I also love when u fuck me"

They were surprised by another small voice," I am also here"
They looked at ayuan with wide  eyes

" you little brat, from when r u here"

Ayaun," From beginning,  I just wanted to say I also love you both"
Ayuan smiled nervously

Soon place was filled with Wei Ying's cheerful laughter and he hugged both Lan zhan and ayuan
