Chapter 2

"What's wrong? Are you alright? Why are you alone?" you crouched down as you looked up at the crying little girl. The little girl then said she was playing and apparently ended up getting lost. You smiled as you tried to calm her down "It's alright.. What's your name? I'm y/n l/n..". She looked up at you "M-mana..". "Mana-chan, it will be alright.. I will help you find your big brother.." you could see her tears stopped flowing. You pulled out your handicraft as you helped her to clean her face. You know she probably doesn't live that far away from this shrine. "Onee-chan, are you a miko?" she asked as you nodded your head "Mhm.. Let's find your big brother..". She nodded her head as he then tugged your skirt "Onee-chan.. Can we hold hands?". You chuckled as you took that little hand, "Of course. I would love that". You could see her face brightened up. You two have been walking for almost two hours and you could see she is getting tired "Mana-chan, would you like me to hold you?". She nodded her head as you scoped her in your arms while starting walking again "Let's look for a little longer, okay? Maybe we missed your brother". She nodded her head before resting it on your shoulder. After walking further, you could hear voices shouting her name. You then saw a guy with light lilac's hair colour seems, mana's eyes widened before she shout as loud as she could "ONIII-CHAAAAAN!!!". Hearing his sister's voice, he quickly ran towards both of you. "Mana!" you could see how worried he is when you let him hold the now crying mana. "Where have you been?! I've told you not to play too far!!" you could hear him scolding her while she just cried out loud feeling relief as she clung to him. "I'm glad you two found each other.." hearing your voice, he looked up at you. "T-thank you so much!! Thank you for helping my sister" he quickly stood straight and bowed his head. "I-it's fine. I'm glad we could find you before dark. Please lift up your head" you said in panic as you felt somehow embarrassed. You could see mana asking him to put her down as she then hugged your wait "Onee-chan, thank you..". You chuckled as you stroke her head "Mhm, you are welcome.. Mana-chan, next time please don't play too far without telling your big brother.". You could see her nodding her head. "Excuse me but.. May I know your name?" You looked at him. "It's y/n l/n...", finally after looking for you for so long, finally he managed to get your name. "I'm Mitsuya.. Takashi Mitsuya. Once again thank you so much for helping my sister.." He could feel his heart racing and how he started to feel nervous. "It's not really a big deal, mitsuya-san.. Ah.. It's getting late.." you saw how the sun started to set. Saying goodbye to them, you walked back to the shrine to get some of your stuff. "Takashi...Mitsuya.. I wonder if he remembers.." you mumbled as you felt your cheeks getting a little hot. Seems like he is not the only one who has been thinking about it. Apparently, you have been thinking about him since that day when your eyes met with him at the Kanto shrine.

-Mitsuya's POV-

Since that day, every chance he got, he clearly took the road that passed the shrine. Sometimes fate brought them together and he ended up exchanging greetings. Usually he always took the shortcut to go anywhere, but now? He prefers that way around the road just to be able to catch a glimpse of her. It took twice longer if he wanted to travel anywhere but hey if it meant he could see her even for 1 second, it's all worth it. "You've been late these few days, Mitsuya" Mikey glanced at him as Mitsuya just averted his gaze before sighing and awkwardly smiled "It's just, something I need to take care of". He knows it's bad hiding things from his friends but he is still not sure how to break it to his gang that he is in love with a girl. The meeting as usual, it's about the next fight but what he didn't expect was the location. "W-what? Why there?" he asked in shock when heard it would be at the shrine parking lot. Her shrine. "It's spacious and people rarely visit that shrine. It's also far away from the police station.. I think that would be the perfect spot. Why? Are you against it?" Draken looked at him as the other eyes followed to look at him too. "No. I'm just a bit concerned about people taking care of that shrine. Since you said it will be at the parking lot.. I think it should be no bother to them. I will try to scout the area" he sighed a bit. Deep inside, he could feel how anxiety started building up.

-End of Mitsuya's POV-

You thought it would be just another peaceful day for you but no. When you were on your way to the shrine, you were shocked when you saw a whole biker gang in the parking lot. You wonder what they are doing at your shrine parking lot. You wanted to ask them but when you saw the intense looks on their face, you just decided to leave them all alone and just proceed walking up the stairs heading to the shrine. Just when you went away, he just arrived with his division. An hour passed and the fight broke. "L/n-sama!! L/n-sama!!" one of the other mikos ran to you. "Hm? What's wrong? Why did you look so pale? Is everything alright?" you put down a box of charms as you saw your junior looked as pale as a ghost. She started to tell you what's going on downstairs at the parking lot. You heard that the other person already called the police. "I-i will.. S-stay here!" you told your juniors as you rushed trying to see what actually happened. Your eyes widened when you saw the warzone at the parking lot. You then heard someone shout that the police are coming. You could see one by one they are running away. But then you saw him. Your eyes locked with him as how shocked he was when saw you standing at the stairs watching from afar. You never thought someone as gentle as him would be a gang member. But then you saw that one of his friends couldn't move. Seems he twisted his leg.

There were only three blonde hair guys, him, and the black hair guy. You then ran to them, their eyes looked at you being wary. You could hear the faint police's siren. You looked up at Mitsuya "T-that way.. If you go that way, it will lead up to the shrine up there.. There's an empty warehouse". You know you could get in trouble helping these strangers but you know, if the police catch him, he will get locked up instead. You went to Mitsuya and handed him the key to the warehouse, "Go.. now, Mitsuya-kun..". He looked surprised, he thought you would at least be angry at him or you would hand them to the police. "I owe you this, l/n-san" he took the key before looking at his friends. As for now, they have no choices other than this. Following your advice, they left you there. You took a deep breath as you walked back to the stairs of the shrine. Waiting for the police. They asked what's going on as you just said, what you saw and you don't know where they all run off to. You saw the police left after a while as you then went up the shrine. You looked around, making sure no one followed or saw you before you made your way to the warehouse with a box for a first aid kit.
