It's the wedding day and there she sits in her room. "Y/n-sama..." the time people that help her getting dressed saw tears running down her cheeks, they all end sniffles. While people were happily celebrating outside, the bride herself couldn't help but cry on that supposed to be happy occasions. It's hard for her to not even cry, leave alone smiling. "You should stop thinking about him..." you could hear your aunt's voice as she came closer to you. "Gou is the best candidate to be your husband that is not far from your age.. He might be like that, but you could change him once you live with him, y/n..". You just remained silent as you could feel your aunt painting your lips, "I know you hate me and resent me for how I've treated you all these times.. Never ever forget that hatred towards me.". "Why.. Why do you hate me so much?" you glared at her with hatred. Your aunt froze a little before applying the red lipstick on your lips again "Stay still or you will mess up your make-up... I never hated you. You will know someday why I did all that.". She put the lipstick brush away as she helped brush your hair with the comb. "Everyone, leave us alone.." your aunt glanced at them. You saw everyone left the room. It always makes you nervous every time you are alone with your aunt. She looked around the room before locking the door and back sitting with you and holding your hands, she gave it a gentle squeeze "Listen here good, y/n.. You have to get out of this family.. You have to survive like your sister.. Bear with me a little longer". You could see the expression that you have never seen on your aunt's face after so many years. "W-what do you mean?" you looked at her confused. "Do not ever trust the men from these families.. Not even your grandfather. You hear me? Marrying Gou is the best way to get out from this family and to assure you could survive out there. Never ever back to this family. " You could see a slight fear in her eyes. "What about Nii-sama?" you looked at her still confused. "They took him out.. But it's not enough to stop that crazy oldman.. Forget about that boyfriend of yours.. Gou's family is rich. She let go of you when she heard someone knock on the door and whispered "Grandma will take care of everything from here on..". She lifted your chin up, never did you see her smile as gentle as that "..You have to survive, y/n.. You are our only hope..". You sit there confused. There are so many things you still want to ask your aunt about but then you see her open the door as the others start helping you put on the Shiromuku wedding kimono.

They put the Wataboshi on your head, making it cover your face. Usually they only let the bride wear the wataboshi only but it seems they even put the light veil to fully cover you. You sit there waiting with a clouded mind until you hear the window suddenly slide open. "Ha! I finally found you!" your eyes widened when you saw mitsuya wearing montsuki haori hakama and you could see how he was panting a little. "M-mitsuya-san?! W-what are you doing here?!" you got up from your seat and went to the window to get a closer look at him. "Picking up my bride." You could see him grinned from ear to ear, "Y/n, will you trust me and take my hand?".
