Chapter 5: We are losers

Cole growled as she glared at Dora who started backing up fearfully while the soldier's guns clicked and she turned to glare at them.

"Target is hostile! Open fire!" One of the soldiers shouted and a storm of bullets were fired towards Cole.

She didn't know how she was doing it but she was able to dodge all the bullets quite easily, as if she subconsciously knew what to do and when to do it as the moment arrived.

She lunged at one of the soldiers and bit into the side of his neck, taking a large chunk out as he let out a horrifying scream. He fell to the ground and Cole lunged at another, though the soldiers were not so hesitant to shoot at their comrade this time if it meant taking down the target.

The Symbiote within her shot out from her back and acted as a shield from the bullets while she feasted on the unfortunate soldier. The shield retracted back into her and she aimed her arms at the soldiers and black tendrils shot forward, grabbing two of them.

She picked them up and slammed them down to the ground, instantly killing them. She then used the dead bodies to hit other soldiers as more tendrils shot out from her body, stabbing and maiming through a lot more soldiers.

Two soldiers that were hidden behind the Secretary's desk watched in horror as their comrades were ripped apart and body parts were flying everywhere.

"What do we do?" One of the soldier asked.

The soldier next to him opened a large case and took out an RPG, loading it up with a determined look in his eyes.

"We send this demon back where it belongs." The soldier stated, standing up and mounting the RPG on his shoulder.

Dora saw this and widened her eyes "Cole!"

Cole looked at her and heard the click, turning to see the RPG being fired and the rocket launched right at her. She caught the rocket but exploded upon contact, sending Cole into a fiery blaze.

Dora gasped in horror as the remaining soldiers watched on in shock. The one that had fired the rocket started laughing and the others started cheering.

"GRR..." A dark growl emanated in the air and everyone became quiet, looking on in shock as Cole stood in the flames but then her body became larger and resembled what one would describe as a monster.

They stepped out of the flames unharmed and everyone gained a new sense of fear at seeing the monster in front of them.

They were large, standing at almost ten feet tall, with a muscular body that was sleek and oily with white veins protruding around their entire body. Their eyes were shaped in a horrifying glare and were completely whited out, their mouth was large and gaping with several sharp white teeth, an extensively long tongue and sharp clawed fingers. This was the monster within Cole Winters, this was Venom.
