Third person POV

It has now been 2 week since Drew has first met Louis and the family. Louis tried to reach out to Ashton but didn't have any luck. Louis took Drew to an Adoption center to officially adopt him since non of his relatives would answer but what he didn't know was that Drew would have to stay at the adoption center for a week until the papers were all processed. While Drew was there he didn't know what to do he just stayed in his room 24/7 he only left to use the bathroom, he didn't eat anything unless Louis was there visiting him like he did 3 of the 7 days. Louis finally got the adoption papers and Drew was now at his forever home. 

Louis POV

"Drew are you okay you were acting different at the adoption center" I asked him concerned he was always in a sweatshirt with his hood up and sweats normally Drew would wear a tee and skinny jeans 

"Y-yeah I'm fine" He said walking away 

"Mister do you remember the rules I said no lying" I told him sternly 

"I-I'm not l-lying" He whimpered now I new he was lying

"Drew I know you aren't telling me the truth now I suggest you tell me before you get punished"

"Louis I'm fine" He shouted at me 

"That's it go stand in the corner NOW" I screamed he whimpered again and walked over to the corner 

"You will stand there until you decide to tell me the truth young man do you understand me" I said gritting my teeth

"Y-yes sir" He whispered

It has been 20 minutes now and I walked back over to Drew after putting Taytum down for a nap

"Are you ready to tell me what has gotten into you son" I questioned

He turned around jumped into my arms hugging and apologizing over and over again

"Can you tell me what you are apologizing for buddy" I asked softly

"I-I didn't eat when I was there"

"What do you mean I saw you eat when I visited you" I said concerned

"I only ate when you came once those 3 days so you didn't worry about me" He pulled his shirt up and I could see his rib cage 

"Drew why"

"I thought you weren't going to come back for me and leave me like my dad did" He sniffled 

"Ahh" I heard someone scream

"What the heck was that" Drew asked

"I don't know I'll talk to you when I come back down okay"

"Yes sir"

Zayn POV

"Liam where the hell did Niall go you were supposed to be watching him" I yelled at Liam

"I don't know I went to get something then he was gone" He said sadly

"I told you to keep an eye on him" 

"I'm sorry Z I tried"

"Ahh" We heard Niall scream 

"Niall what are you doing" I said seeing him on the floor sobbing

"I-I wanted t-to color but da markers were up there s-so I climbed on da table and-and falled off" He cried knowing he wasn't to be climbing on things

"Niall you know the rule no climbing on things" I yelled at him making him cry more

"I sorry Zaynie" He sobbed out
