Niall has been acting different these last few days. He has been whinny, having a hard time sleeping, wanting a paci all the time, wetting his pants, and just acting a lot younger than normal.
"Niall you will go in time out if you don't stop fussing" I warned him
I have stopped spanking Taytum and Niall unless it was very bad because I realized they were just to young for it and half the time didn't understand why they were getting a spanking.
"Noo" Niall shouted plopping on the ground throwing his head back and sobbing
"I'll give you to the count of 3 mister" I warned him
"One"
"Two"
"Thr-" He got up and ran into my arms crying for a pacifier
"Ni you are 5 you don't need a paci" I tried to explain
"I 'ant nuky" That is what Niall calls his Pacifier
"Baby you are not getting one you are too old for them"
Well that was a bad idea because he just cried even harder so I stood up with him in my arms and placed him on a chair in the corner until he calmed down which he did do after a horrible 30 minutes
"Niall are you calm now" I ask him
"N-Nuky" He questions yawning
"Are you tired love"
"Uh huh I 'ant nuky to sweep" He said going over and taking Taytum's from her mouth and putting it in his making Taytum whimper
"Absolutely not young man go give that back to her it is not yours" I sternly say
"Nu uh I 'ant it" He says getting ready to run before I grab his arm so he can't
"I will let you have yours for sleep time only for now is that okay" I ask him
"Yeah" He yells going to give Taytum hers back before she starts crying
"Here take it" I throw it on the couch next to him
"Tank you" He says cutely
"Now do you need a diaper change before bed" I ask sighing
"No dada I no need diaper I big boy" He says with a huge smile
I role my eyes thinking he was a big boy before he started going backwards and acting younger. If he keeps this up I don't know what I am going to do when he starts school again in the fall.
It has been 2 days since Niall's breakdown and I came up with a plan. I am going to get Zayn to try and talk with Niall about how he needs to act like a big boy so he has someone to play with and hopefully Niall will stop his baby like actions.
Zayn POV
It was me and Niall in his room and I was about to talk to him
"Hey Ni Ni I really miss my big boy play buddy" I act sad
"Huh" He says tilting his head
"You aren't a big boy anymore so I can't play with you anymore" I try reasoning with him
"I big boy" He says coming over to sit in my lap
"No big boys don't wet there pants and suck on pacifiers" I tell him
He was sucking on one and then spit it out and fondly walked over the trash can and threw it away
"I big boy now, now we play with blocks" He cocks his head giggling
"First lets go tell daddy you are a big boy and threw your paci away yeah" I ask him
He nods his head holding my hand while we walk down stairs
"Daddy I big boy no more nuky" He yells once he sees him sitting on the couch
"Really I have my big boy Niall back" He cheers throwing his small body in the air and catching him
"Yeah me and Zaynie go pway now" He says dragging me back up the stairs
*3 hours later*
Niall starts whining and I ask him what was wrong
"I not big boy Zaynie I pee pee my pants" He says crying
"Hey little man it's okay accidents happen lets get you cleaned up and into some cute clothes okay"
"I s-still big boy" He asks sniffling
"Of course your a big boy" I say happily making him smile a little
I just got Niall cleaned up and into an adorable outfit it was a mini boss hoodie, light blue jeans, and a pair of socks
