False Hope - H.K x S.YN

(This will all be in Yuna's POV) 

I was walking to my locker, about to grab my book for the next period until I heard loud footsteps while someone was calling me. 

"Yuna-yah! Yuna-yah!" hearing the familiar voice, I saw two of my best friends, Ahn Yujin and Jang Wonyoung, running towards me. It looks like they were in a hurry hearing from how they pant. 

"Yuna, you gotta take a look at this," Yujin gave me her phone as a message app was opened. It was a message between her and Kai. 

Kai 

Don't tell anyone but I like your friend.

Who? Which one?

Yuna. 

I widen my eyes as I saw the text. I looked over at Yujin and Wonyoung. They looked at me with shocked face as well. 

"What the heck does this mean?" I finally spoke. 

"He likes you, duh," Wonyoung sassed out. 

"Yeah but how?" we started to walk away from my locker. I was still holding Yujin's phone, staring at the message over and over and over. 

Hueningkai? likes me? Should I be happy that someone liked me, or should I be confused. I think I should feel both. 

"I don't know, but he just told me that when I was in class," Yujin shrugged, snatching her phone from my hands. 

"Yeah but that's impossible, and how did you get his number?" I asked. 

"Oh it was from last week's project. I was about to send a heart emoji to Wonyoung, but I guess I sent it to the wrong number...," Yujin scratch her head. 

"And you know what's crazy? He replied back, saying that the heart was for you!" Wonyoung added. 

Okay, this getting out of hand. There is no way Hueningkai like me. I mean we never talked, he never show how he care for me, even as classmates, and it's just impossible. 

"But isn't it kinda sus though?" I looked at Yujin.

"Yeah, true, he never actually got close to you and it's just sounds fake," Wonyoung put her finger on her chin. Acting like she's thinking hard. 

"You know what, just lets forget this for now, I need to go to class," we bid goodbyes as I went to my class. 

I sat on my seat, waiting for my teacher. As I was waiting I saw the door slide open. Revealing Kai and his best friend, Jisung and Taehyun. I followed his every moves with my eyes. He doesn't look awkward around me. I don't think he even notices my presence. 

The whole period-- no scratch that. The whole entire day I couldn't stop thinking about what Kai said. I really tried to forget about it, but it's just impossible...
