~ connie's pov ~
~ saturday night ~

I put my car into park, staring ahead at the empty field, the moon sitting full and bright in the sky. I leaned my seat back, opening my glove box and grabbing the plastic bag that had two blunts sitting in it along with my lighter. 'What the hell could've happened in that room?'

I sighed, grabbing one from the bag before adjusting it between my lips and lighting it, tossing the other back into the compartment. 'The way she pushed me... that fucking hurt.'

I looked over at my phone that sat in the passenger seat, reaching over and grabbing it before going to her contact name.

me:
i know you're not gonna answer but im sorry if i did anything to upset you at all. message me when you're home safe pls :/ |

It sat on the screen, my thumb hovering over the send button but I hesitated to press it, not wanting to bother her at all. I was scared though, of where she could be, of what could have possibly happened. "I'm so confused." I said to myself, deleting the message before tossing my phone back into the passenger seat and leaning back into mine, taking another hit of the blunt.

"I hope she's safe." I sighed, leaning my head back and closing my eyes. "I wonder if this is it..." I heavily breathed out, my shoulders, sinking as my body slid further down into my seat, my eyes focusing on the starry sky as the blunt touched my lips once again. 'I really didn't wanna lose her so soon.'

I had lost track of time and how long i'd been sitting there. I just know I felt sick, not knowing what to do with myself. I wanted nothing more than to call her and make sure she was okay but I still couldn't push aside the feeling that she just didn't wanna talk to me.

I jumped as I heard a tap on my window, looking over to expect Jean but was surprised to see Sasha. She motioned for me to roll down my window so I reached over and did so. "What're you doing here?" I asked as she frowned. "I wanted to talk to you. I spoke with (y/n)." She stated, making me perk up a little bit as her name was spoke.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "How did you know I was out here?" I asked as she laughed, holding up her phone. "Snap map. You weren't answering my texts but I needed to find you." She replied.

"Come in." I motioned to the passenger seat as I rolled up my window and unlocked my car. She came around the vehicle before getting in. I held what was left of the blunt out to her. "Want some?" I asked as she shook her head. "Not right now. I'm going to Niccolo's after this so I don't wanna be high." She laughed.

I just nodded, sitting my elbow against the ledge of my door, resting my cheek into my palm. "So, you talked to her?" I looked over to Sasha who nodded. "Yes, Hitch, Ari, and I and really none of this is my place to tell you but I know you're probably worried about her so I feel like you should know."

"Is she somewhere safe?" I asked.

"She didn't tell me where she was." Sasha shook her head. "I'd assume she's at home, I don't know." She shrugged. "She was crying when I talked to her though."

"Why aren't you with her? Why are you here?"
I motioned to my car as Sasha sighed. "She said she wanted to be alone and when she says that, she means it." She looked over to me. "She'll be okay."

"What happened?" I gave Sasha a confused look. "She was fine."

"Her ex was there." Sasha stated, making my mouth fall open, my eyes widening slightly. "So-" "He was the one in that private dance room. She went to leave but Colt grabbed her and-" "Colt?" I cut Sasha off, my eyes shooting in her direction as she nodded. "Yeah, that's her ex."
