~ 2 weeks later ~
~ thursday morning ~

I sighed, watching as Eren set up his station for the day while I wiped mine down. I wasn't exactly in the best mood and I could tell Eren noticed since he hadn't even started blaring music like he normally would.

It took him a minute to say anything to me but he eventually did, making his way over before leaning against the nearby wall and crossing his arms. "Spill," he plainly stated.

"Spill what?" I played dumb.

"Dude, you're never this quiet. You and (y/n) alright?" He asked.

"We're fine." I mumbled, putting my cleaner away.

"Not convincing-" "Dude, if I tell you, swear you won't say anything to her?" I turned to him, his mouth falling slightly open. "Uuuh, I don't think it's good to hide things from her." He shook his head.

"Just don't tell her, please?" I placed my hands together as he sighed, his shoulders sinking. "I suppose."

"Nicole texted me."

"Your ex?"

"Yeah."

"And you're not telling her?!" Eren's eyebrows furrowed. "What did she say?"

"She just said she misses me. I didn't respond and I immediately blocked her number." I sighed. "Still, it's stressing me out because I don't want (y/n) to worry-" "You keeping something like that from her is what's gonna make her worry." Eren laughed. "Has her ex contacted her at all?"

"Not that I know of. I told him I'd beat his ass if he did so I'm assuming he took the hint." I shrugged.

"Oh and you don't think (y/n) would murder Nicole?" Eren asked.

"What she doesn't know won't hurt her." I plainly stated.

"I can't tell if you're incredibly sneaky or incredibly dumb." He laughed.

"Yes." I nodded.

"So, you're admitting you're sneaky?"

"I'll do that I have to to avoid drama and protect her."

"For fucks sake." Eren sighed, turning to go back to his area. "Look, not to bring up past issues, but Nicole always found out about things. Women tend to have that ability," he laughed. "You can hide it all you want but she will find out."

"Not if you don't run your mouth." I glared. "I didn't even respond, dude. You're making it a bigger deal than it is-" "She's your ex, bro!"

"Why are you two always so loud?"

I turned to see Rico entering the shop, Nile and Nanaba behind her as they held coffees in hand. "We brought drinks." Nana stated.

"Petra here yet?" Nile asked as Eren shook his head. "She's always late." He laughed.

Rico handed me my tea before going over to her station. I took a sip before sitting it down, turning to Eren as he spoke. "You going to the club tonight?"

"Nah," I shook my head. "She doesn't work tonight. We also have a game so I couldn't either way." I shrugged. "She is coming in here in a bit though. She's finally letting me give her a tattoo."

"Mikasa has already let me do 6." Eren laughed. "Whatcha doin on her?" He asked, watching as I pulled out my iPad to get the design. "She told me I could do whatever as long as it was on her spine so I opted for a dragon or a snake to match mine a lil." I laughed. "But to make it look a little more detailed I was gonna add flowers but not roses cause that'd be too basic."
