┊Chapter six

The feeling of hunger made my stomach feel as if there were oceans of nothing but guilt running through them.
"Hey i found something in my bag, maybe you'd like them." She softly tapped on my shoulder holding 4 fruit gummies in her palm.
"Thanks." I lightly smiled while eating the gummies slowly.
Eden POV:
"Hey I'm sorry for what I did yesterday when this all started, it was immature and I should've considered how you felt, knowing you were trying your best." I put my hand on her shoulder and walked back to the shed we were all staying in. The door was slightly jammed but I opened it. It was so cramped and hot in there. I didn't wanna scream out of anger but that's all I wanted to do in the moment. Everyone is being so stupid and don't have the sense that I have.
I curled up in a small corner of the dirty wood shed and thought of what could happen next. Nothing came to my head. These creatures are unpredictable. Getting lost in my thoughts the door quickly opened catching me off guard.
I saw ren's face filled with Emptiness.
"Hey." He said quietly and bent over to my level. I was confused.
Eden POV finished

badger pov: After seeing Asher get eaten yesterday it almost felt good, I got tired of him anyways, soft fuzzy man was so corny and weird.. I turned to my right and saw the door 4/5ths open. "Huh?." I mumbled under my breath and cautiously walked to the shed
I saw ren and Eden talking, but her face. She didn't appear sane, she appeared shocked and on the verge of tears.
Badger pov finished

I stared into my reflection on the creek when I heard whining from the shed.
I sprinted to the shed and saw Eden Sobbing but covering her face, the tears were making her shirt wet, badger explained what had just happened and everything had went back to where we had started, extreme distress.
"Everyone get out, now." Badger and Ren left and closed the door leaving eden and I alone. "Is everything okay?" I came closer to her and gave her my last fruit gummy.
She hit my hand away. The gummy rolled on the floor breaking the silence. "Go away. You guys never understand and never bother listening to me." She yelled at me causing badger to lightly knock on the door. I got up and left.
Ren and Badger were sitting down near the creek while waiting. Badger got up, "I heard what happened, are you okay?, Most importantly is SHE okay?."  I shrugged while giving my look of shame. "Maybe she needs space, that's the least we can provide her with after all of this."
"He's right. These changes are major and can trigger her easily." Ren added while signaling us to sit down.
