┊chapter four

I took a towel from the table and dried up. I walked upstairs to my dorm and took a shower. Why did something feel off? Like, Ren was acting so quiet. I understand it's a new change but he seemed bit more distant. Was it because he got a bad locker? I'm not sure if he's been checking up with himself.

I woke up and checked the time 10 in the morning. Well it's Sunday which means we do have to send in our assignments but it's like no classes and a regular day.
I headed to the bathroom and brushed my hair and teeth. While it was quiet, I was assuming Eden probably went for breakfast and finally went to sleep earlier. I grabbed my uniform and changed into it. As I left for the exit i saw badger in the cafe but ren and Eden were gone? Strange but either way I greeted badger.
"Good morning! How'd you sleep?" I said while placing my bag on the seat next to me. "I slept well." he responded while eating pancakes.
"Hey have you seen ren and Eden?" I asked
"They went to the park and said they'll be back soon." Honestly I was still a bit tired so I took a ten minute nap.

My vision is blurry but I see Eden next to me and ren. I'm guessing they came back and were chatting with badger, I rubbed my eyes and kept my head down. I saw Jimmy started coughing. It was a bit odd but he was coughing so much, it became disturbing and he was coughing on his friend.
I know he didn't mean to but still it's fucking disgusting. He started throwing up and I started crying. I couldn't stand the sight, smell or any slightest bit of vomit. It made me cry and in general I hate it so much.

Badger pov: god this kid is fucking gross, why can't he just go to the bathroom. I see him coughing on his friend and it's weird. I tried comforting jace and took him somewhere else. He had this fear of vomit since elementary school because of some kid who threw up on him. Honestly it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen but I know how she feels and walked him to his dorm with eden.

My pov again
I thanked badger for dropping me and Eden off as ren and badger went to their dorms. I laid on the bed and was on call with my best friend Barron, she was visiting Mexico to see her family, after some talking we ended the call,. I started hearing screams from the first floor, they were screams of terror. I rushed downstairs and saw Jim devouring his friends head with two other horrible looking humans. They looked like.. FUCKING ZOMBIES? I was in a state of shock and disgust as I tried to stay quiet so I wouldn't draw their attention. I alerted the group chat and told Eden that I saw zombies downstairs.
"EDEN I KNOW YOU WONT BELIEVE ME HERE BUT PLEASE LISTEN, I SAW JIM BITING HIS FRIEND AND TWO OTHER ZOMBIES WHILE THIS GIRL WAS BEING EATEN. PLEASE BELIEVE ME."
"What the fuck, are you joking? If it's a joke don't do that" she replied in disgust
"IM NOT I SWEAR YOU CAN GO TAKE A LO-" i replied but I was interrupted by badger and ren at the door
"I SAW YOUR MESSAGE, WE WENT TO CHECK AND I THINK WE SHOULD START PACKING." Badger yelled
"I AGREE, LETS TAKE SOME WATER AND CANNED FOODS" Ren commented trying his best to stay calm. Eden tried her best to stay calm as she panicked. I tried comforting her and reassuring her that I would keep her safe.
I started tearing up while packing.  When almost done packing I heard a scratch at the door. I started panicking and opened the window hoping there was an escape ladder.
I felt like the luckiest person alive realizing there was one. I instructed my friends to take the escape ladder so I can throw the stuff down for them.
I had knives for everyone and gave them an example on how to use them to stab our enemies.
"WHERE THE FUCK WE SUPPOSED TO GO?" Eden asked in rage
I tried to keep her calm and honestly she was annoying me. We were going to be killed by zombies if she doesn't go with what I plan. I planned for us to go near the ocean as there was some trying to leave the school already. They all agreed and we would plan more once we get there.
