~y/n pov~
I've lived here for as long as I can remember. In this house, there is one particular human that matters. He's tall, has dirty blonde, almost light brown hair, and has the most irregular sleep schedule.
He often spends a lot of time in his room, talking too loudly to be alone. I've never been inside, but from what I can tell, it seems interesting. He often calls his friends. Some reoccurring names that I've heard are Tubbo, Dream, Tommy, chat, and Phil.
The guy's name? All of his friends call him Ranboo. So that's just what I call him. It's simple and easy to remember. I've caught glimpses of him venturing to and from his room and the kitchen, but that's all I usually ever see from him.
Am I scared of him? No. I'm not scared of him specifically. I know that I'm supposed to be, as I was obviously taught by my parents that "humans are bad news." Even so, I'm quite lax about that notion. I've never been in a close encounter with this human, or any others, to dictate whether I'm scared of them or not.
Until today.
It was around 7 P.M., the usual time that this Ranboo retires to his room and talks. I proceeded to exit my little knot hole like I usually do and make my way to the kitchen. The climb to the countertop was the same as it usually is, and I surveyed the area for any easy meals.
The bananas were not too far away, but I remembered that I also was a bit low on water. Sighing, I pulled out my empty bottle cap from my bag and dragged it behind me. I would grab some bananas first, then go for the water after. Humming a little to myself, I leisurely made my way over towards the desired fruit.
Then, I heard the door open and close. I could hear someone walking closer to the kitchen. Grumbling in annoyance, I darted behind the closest object to me, a jar of sugar. From behind it, I peeked around the jar to see who had entered the kitchen. It was Ranboo, and he was holding two boxes in his hands.
They were green boxes. He placed them on the counter not to far from where I was, the left the kitchen again. I looked over at the boxes, curious as to what they were. It looked like some cereal. Minecraft Creeper Crunch was written on the front of both. I snickered. This cereal looked pretty tacky.
I heard Ranboo coming back, so I stifled my chuckles and fell silent. Curious again, I peeked out from behind the sugar jar to see that he brought a camera and a tripod with him. Now, I had a good look at his face. He had on a black and white mask, dark sunglasses, and white gloves. He was wearing a white shirt covered by a black apron, and a crown rested on top of his head.
Piecing two and two together, I realized that he was going to record a video in the kitchen. Huffing quietly, annoyed, I sat behind the sugar jar and waited. I could hear Ranboo fiddling with his camera, and soon he began recording.
The plan was to just wait him out, but that was taking far too long. He just wasn't leaving! He continued to talk to himself as he made the most interesting review of the cringiest cereal ever. It was entertaining, but I just wanted to go home now. I heard him start to finish off the video. Once I was certain he turned off the camera, I began to head towards the bananas before I went home.
Did I care if he saw me? Not really, at this point. I just didn't want to get caught on camera. I was sort of hoping he'd be too busy packing his things to notice me, but if he did then that was my fault.
Sure enough, I heard a gasp and knew that he saw me. "Um, what the... uhhhh" he trailed off. I turned to face him. He definitely was a lot taller up close which did make me a tad nervous, but not enough to bother me.
"Yep, yep! I exist! Now if you'll excuse me, I still have food to collect," I said casually as I continued towards the desired fruit.
"Wait! Uh, what are you though?" He asked curiously.
"A borrower," I said over my shoulder. "Don't ask too many questions now. I'm sure you'll see me around again in the future. I'm not going anywhere." I finally reached the bananas and used my pin to cut off a small piece from the back. I put it into my bag and decided to just go home and get the water tomorrow.
After to started walking back to my hook, I noticed that Ranboo was just watching me curiously. I didn't really mind.
"What's your name? Just before you go?" He asked hopefully. I stopped and faced him.
"It's y/n," I said casually. I think he smiled? It's hard to tell with the mask and glasses. He extended his finger towards me as a handshake.
"Nice. I'm Ranboo," he offered in return. I shook his finger and then turned to leave again. "So I'll see you around here then?"
I stopped and faced him again. "Yeah. As long as you don't go telling everyone you know that you have a tiny person living in your house, then we're cool."
"Okay. Deal," Ranboo replied. I gave him a small salute before making my way to my hook and heading down.
As I walked back to my little hole, I had a small smile on my face. Maybe it would be cool to be friends with Ranboo. I made up my mind to "accidentally" cross paths with him again in the future.

A/N - I don't like the ending. Oh well. Maybe I'll rewrite it in the future. Again, sorry it took literally forever to finish😅
