𝚈/𝚗 𝙿𝚘𝚟~

   It is my 20th birthday so I decided to buy myself a birthday gift so gifted myself an apartment with the money that I've been saving up since I was old enough to work at the age of 15. I went online so I could look up some reasonably priced apartments for rent. I found one that was perfect for me it had 2 rooms and 2 and a half baths. I emailed back and forth with the landlord for more info about the apartment.

I was so excited that they accept my application. I bearly hold in all of my excitement. I made an appointment to get the keys from the apartment from the landlord on Friday.  I was thinking about the other room and thought about renting the other side out so I can have help with the rent not that I need it or anything but it would be nice. 

The next day after school I went to buy some necessities for my apartment. I don't want my parents to find out that I thought stuff or that I'm planning to move out. so I sent one of my feathers up to my window to unlock it and some more up to put the bags up there so  I didn't have to walk in the front door with them. then I walked in the front door and up the steps up to my room as nothing happened. 

𝚃𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚂𝚔𝚒𝚙~

It is finally the day I get to move into my new apartment. As soon as the dismissal bell rang at the end of the day  I was gone in a flash. I packed my books and notes in my backpack and I ran out the door as soon as I could.  I checked the time and realized it was 2:27 my appointment is at 2:30. I started to worry I wasn't going to make it in time so I crouched down and spread out my wings. I pushed off the ground and leaped into the air and I was gone I left a couple of cracks where I was just standing. 

       I soared through the sky as quickly as I could. the time was 2:29 when I inspected it so I pushed myself to go faster and faster. I flew till I reached the apartment but I made it at 2:31 I was too late I was mentally causing myself out when the door opened to see the landlord standing there.  I was so relieved that he was still there  "𝙷𝚒 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚖𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚋𝚎 𝚈/𝚗𝚒 𝚊𝚖 𝚜𝚘 𝚐𝚕𝚊𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚖𝚊𝚍𝚎 𝚒𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝙸 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚊𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚖𝚢 𝚍𝚘𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛'𝚜 𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚘𝚒𝚗𝚝𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝" He said smiling. "𝚈𝚎𝚙 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝'𝚜 𝚖𝚎, " I said reaching into my backpack for the first month's rent. Once I handed him the rent he reached into his pocket and grabbed a set of keys and handed them off to me.  I squealed with excitement and jumped around I practically tackled him to the ground engulfing him in a hug. 

       He smiled and said he was happy that I was so excited about my new place and said he really must be going to the doctor's appointment. I watched him walk down the street and round to the corner and disappear out of sight. I opened the door and stepped inside taking in the scent of dust which was not that great on my allergies but in no time I would have it smelling good in here.  ' I'm finally home' I thought to myself. I hurried out the door and left my bookbag there so I didn't have to bring it back with me. I didn't want to get into too much trouble so I rushed to my parent's house.  When I made it home I was instantly bombarded by questions from my mom. 

     I just told her that I was at the library studying and she dropped it after that. She went to sit back on the couch and I walked up the steps. I walked to my room careful not to make a sound and I packed my stuff which wasn't much but that will make it easier on me.  Once I was done with the packing I was sure to not disturb the parents as they had passed out to be drunk out of their minds. I took my suitcases down the steps and walked o the kitchen to leave a note for them. I had to walk past them to get to the kitchen. My mom was stirring in her sleep which made me scared that she is going to wake up any minute. The note read...

      Dear mom and dad

      I am moving to my own place.    

I'm sure that you and dad will be 

ok without me. I just want to start 

a life on my own.

I left the not on the fridge so they can find it in the morning and walked out with my stuff it was around 7 pm when I got outside. I ordered an uber and waited for it to arrive.
