             I followed them to the door and watched them all climb into a black SUV. They speed off and out of sight. I called all of my bosses to let them know what the circumstances are for right now. I flopped on the couch and turned on the tv to watch something but the first channel that popped up was the news. I was half asleep when I heard my name her name that is. It said "𝙽𝚎𝚡𝚝 𝚞𝚙 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛𝚢 𝚘𝚗 𝙿𝚑𝚘𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚡". My eyes shoot straight at the tv. They showed a clip of me fighting that guy at the diner. Then a few eyewitnesses talked about what happened. It first showed a little girl that was maybe 10 she didn't look that old. She said she looked up to me and she wanted to be like me when she grows up. It went through a few more people and they all said they were grateful to me and that I did a good job taking care of him. Hearing all those kind words made my heart melt and I felt accomplished.

About a month passed and I haven't heard anything from 'Mr. Boss Man' or his assistant minus the get-well basket that they sent a week after I last saw them. I was starting to doubt that I was going to ever see my roommate in real life. I was kinda worried I mean I know they said that they wouldn't be staying here all the time but more of a vacation home. I knew it was going to be a while till I can see them so I wanted to do something that would help fill the space in the home. That's when it hit me I'm going to adopt a pet preferably a puppy. I went to the local adoption center to pick out a new friend. there were so many choices to pick from. I was walking through the kennels I spotted a tiny little pitbull puppy. I read the info sheet just on the outside of the kennel it said the people that had him before didn't want him and threw him out one day. He is gray ad white and he has beautiful eyes. I am officially in love.

I brought him to the store after filling out all the paperwork. I took him to like ten different stores to get everything that he needs. It took us about 3 hours of shopping to get all the things we need but it's 100% worth it. We went home and I set up all his things like his food and water bowls, and his dog bed. I was finished all the setting up and packing away when I realized I don't have a name for him yet. I just started spit-balling names for him. "𝙳𝚎𝚡𝚝𝚎𝚛" Nothing "𝙰𝚣𝚞𝚕"Nothing "𝙱𝚞𝚍𝚍𝚢" Nun "𝙳𝚞𝚔𝚎" Nada "𝙺𝚒𝚗𝚐" Bingo. He jumped up and, his ears were perked up. "𝙾𝚔 𝙺𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚒𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚠𝚎 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚑𝚊𝚟𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚊 𝚌𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚊𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚝𝚊𝚐𝚜 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝚢𝚘𝚞". He did a little excited wiggle. I can tell he's going to be one spoiled pup.

I took King with me on patrol and to work. Everyone loved him they always asked to pet him. He is a great addition he's kinda like a partner to me. I and king made it on the news a couple of dozen times before. I was pretty famous and don't get me wrong I love the spot I'm at but I want to be the number one pro hero. I looked up to the pros, especially pro hero Hawks. I looked up to him because he is strong and he has wings just like me (𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚕𝚍 𝚛𝚎𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚝𝚘). I had some merch like my Hawks Pjs and a couple of posters and stuffies in my room. I can't like that man is fine.

The annual hero's banquet is coming up and fast. I was thinking about whether I should go or not. It would be cool to see the heroes I look up to and learn a bit while I'm there. Although it was going to be pretty boring because of all the speeches. I was on the hero leader board and I was climbing it fast. After all the thinking I said why not and I needed to get out and have fun. I wanted to make a statement but also be in the background rather than the foreground. I picked out a pretty red dress it has lace and glitter all over the dress. I picked out high heels that matched perfectly. I had some extra money lying there so I had the dress made for me it is inspired after flames. I obviously had to get it made fireproof.
