"Ask me what?" Nya inquired as she and Harumi entered the room where Kai and Jay were talking.
"Um." Jay started as he passed Kai the pin behind Darreth's back. "Ask you where you got that shirt. Because it's awesome! I want one." He improvised which made Harumi laugh.
"It's a kimono, Jay!" Harumi explained through her laughter.
"A traditional gown worn by women." Nya added.
"Uh, guys can wear them too!" His reasons kept getting worse which Darreth and Kai noticed.
"Ooh! I would look so good in a kimono." Darreth joined in which made Nya and Jay look at each other. Harumi couldn't control her laughter at the thought of Darreth in a kimono.
"Uh, so. Where's Master Wu?" Kai asked trying to diffuse the awkwardness and that's when Harumi noticed something odd. She was going to interrogate them about it later.
"In the courtyard, supervising the mural." She answered casually and composed herself.
"Ooh, I wanna see!" Darreth rushed towards the outside and the other followed him.
"Wow!" Jay gasped as they took a peek at the mural. A few days ago it was only a work in progress, but now they could see all of it.
"Will you look at that." Kai exclaimed as he admired the painting.
"It is the history of Ninjago." Master Wu explained. "A history in which all of you played a significant role."
"Hey that's us!" Jay pointed excitedly to the painting of him and Nya with Nadakhan which confused the others.
"Where am I?" Darreth asked as he made a fuss around the mural trying to find a portrait of himself.
As Darreth tried to find a way to insert himself in the mural, Harumi pulled Kai until they were out of Nya's earshot.
"What's up?" Kai inquired and acted as cool as possible.
"Spill it, Kai. I know you're hiding something." Harumi crossed her arms and squinted her eyes.
"What do you mean?" Kai's voice started to shake as he grew nervous with her interrogation. "Fine. Jay's trying to find a way to ask Nya to be his Yang."
"Really?! Wow. That's so sweet." Harumi squealed as she jumped up and down in excitement. She was happy for her friend, after seeing the couple together, she began to wonder why they weren't binded by the promise yet.
"I know right! But keep it down, we wouldn't want to spoil the surprise." Kai winked as they walked back to their friends.
"I got it. Your secret's safe with me." Harumi did a zipper motion through her mouth as they tried to act as natural as possible. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's keeping secrets.
"I'm in here somewhere, right?" Darreth was now desperate.
"Oh, I'm sure you are." Nya responded in an unsure tone.
"Okay! I'll keep looking." The brown ninja was now more determined to find himself in their mural which made the team giggle. "Ooh! I think I see me. There's a brown spot here and it looks just like me. Woo-hoo!" He celebrated his small achievement.
"Huh? What's that?" Harumi pointed to the painting in the far right corner. It was gold tornado of some sort.
"That's the tornado of creation! Don't you remember, Kai?" Jay explained. "We all came together and formed that bone-cage thingy."
"Oh yeah! Can't believe that worked." Kai smirked as he remembered.
"Ah, except I don't remember it looking that impressive." Jay commented as he studied the painting more.
