Chapitre quatorze : Cordialement moi

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji were sitting apart from each other. Wei Wuxian was getting bored after only copying 20 times.

"I'm so bored..."

Looking out the window as he lets out a sigh. Looking back at Lan Wangji as he smirks. Standing up and walking towards the lad in white.

"Hey, Lan Zhan."

Lan Wangji lifted his head in a glare.

"Don't call me that."

"What? You can call me Wei Ying too!"

"Pathetic."

Wei Wuxian sat infront of Lan Wangji and smiled at him.

"It's pretty boring now, how about we talk?"

Wei Wuxian sighed as he let out a dozen of butterflies that started playing with him. Lan Wangji trying hard not to stop writing, when a butterfly landed on his hand. His pace stopped as he stared at the creature.

"Pretty unusual no? They aren't real animals."

"What do you mean?"

"They are spirits"

Lan Wangji had raised his palm where three golden butterflies flew and landed on him.

"They're really harmless, unless you do harm me."

"What can they do?"

"They can deal a lot of damage when attacking. They can also light the surroundings up, record conversations and dictate if the person being fought is using an illusion. But most importantly is that they can heal. They can also lift you up if I chose to, I can also disperse."

Wei Wuxian bursted into a swarm of butterflies that went past Lan Wangji. On his back, Wei Wuxian stood.

"But they are weak to heat."

Wei Wuxian walked back infront of Lan Wangji.

"What do you use them for?"

"To talk to my parents and as company."

"You said late mother last time, what do you mean by parents?"

"My adoptive parents of course! My A-diē gifted me these butterflies."

"Oh, how about your adoptive mother?"

"What mother? I only have two dads and that's it."

"Your parents are both male?"

"Nothing... Just unusual."

"Shameless."

Lan Wangji scanned Wei Wuxian and saw that under his sleeves were his arms that were covered in silk.

"What happened to you arms?"

"Dogs?"

He took off the silk that wrapped his arms and revealed a lot of scars and bite marks.
