Melody caressed Rose’s cheek as she stared at the sleeping beauty before her in awe. Her perfectly shaped face seeming peaceful, the glorious morning sun beams radiating on her tanned natural skin, just so prefect.
As she was too caught up in her little world the door swung open revealing a light brown haired Asian woman a bit shorter then the two girls. Her hair tied in a pony tail as her bangs hanged lose, “Good morning my beautiful daughter!” the woman shouted causing Melody to almost fall out of the bed.b
“mẹ?” she i her eyes in hopes it was a dream. But the clicking sound her heels made against the tiled floor sounded otherwise. Turning back to Rose she lightly smiled at the half awake girl throwing the blanket over her head.
“In the fresh darling.” the woman chimed with excitement. “Who is in there with you?” she questioned walking around the bed to the other side.
“No one.” Melody spoke pulling the blanket out of her mother’s hand.
“tôi già không mù.” the woman hissed before pulling the blanket out of Melody’s hand exposing the green eyes girl. Studying the shocked girl the older Asian woman tilted her head to the side before poking her cheek to confirm she was real.
“mẹ!!” Melody whined glaring at her.
“What? cô ấy đẹp and real.” cupping her chin between her two fingers she turned Rose’s head to side, left and right. Lowering herself towards the girl the woman stared into her eyes for a few seconds, standing up straight she gave her daughter an okay sign with her left hand. “sự lựa chọn tốt!” she said with a bright smile.
Shaking her head Melody tore her gaze back to her girlfriend, confusion filled her face mostly because she didn’t understand a single word the woman said. Taking her attention back to her mother she snapped her fingers, “She can’t understand us you know.” Melody said.
Nodding her head the Asian woman understood, “Teach her our language before you get married then.” she stated with a hopeful smile on her face.
“mẹ! chúng tôi sẽ không kết hôn, chúng tôi chỉ mới bắt đầu hẹn hò!” Melody partly shouted narrowing her eyes at the woman.
“tôi nhìn thấy tương lai.” her mother gave her toothy grin wiggling her eyebrows.
“mẹ...” Melody sighed running her fingers through her hair, her mother was just too much but she had grown to like it sometimes.
Ignoring her daughter Mrs. Tune sat on the bed on Rose’s side. “Hello I am her mother, Mrs. Jennie Tune.” the woman introduced stretching out her hand towards the girl.
Rose blinked a couple of times before taking her hand in hers, giving her a firm handshake. “Rose LaSalle.” she spoke withdrawing her hand and sat up straight giving the woman more place to seat.
“French?”
“Oui!” she spoke with a wide smile.
“Enchanté de faire votre connaissance.”
Rose a bit taken back furrowed her eyebrows staring at the woman. “je ne savais pas que tu pouvais parler français.” she said smiling.
The woman giggled nodding her head, “vous seriez surpris du nombre de langues que je parle.” taking a glimpse at her confused daughter Mrs. Tune rolled her eyes. “contrairement à ma fille ici ne veut jamais apprendre.” she mumbled earning a laugh from Rose.
