Repeatedly sighing in exhaustion she push the door open, standing within those familiar coloured walls she felt a bit at ease. Her heart felt more joyous and at ease as she caught a glimpse of that lovely smile.
Rushing from the door she jumped onto the bed carefully not to hurt her at all. Slipping her arms around Melody’s neck Rose situated herself in comfortably in her arms, taking in a full whip of her scent and her embrace.
“Tough day?” Melody asked wrapping her arms around her waist pulling her a bit closer. She liked their little gestures, the little seeming meaningless embraces. It was infact her most favourite accordance with the kisses — definitely the kisses.
She let out another sigh, burying her face in Melody’s neck she held the girl tighter but with gentleness. “So tough, so exhausting. I missed you a lot.” she murmured.
“I missed you a lot more.” pausing Melody ran her hand up and down Rose’s back a bright smile on her face. “I like being with you, around you.” she continued still lightly caressing her back.
Removing her face from Melody’s neck, Rose sat up a bit facing Melody — that beautiful bright smile and those loving eyes. “I like that too, most definitely the kisses more.” she spoke her eyes trailing down to her lips.
She didn’t even have to ask as Melody invaded her thoughts with her lips. Pressing them against Rose’s she moved her lips on hers for a moment before pulling out. “Definitely the kisses.” Melody mumbled still eyeing her lips, she could really never get enough.
Rose giggled falling down on the bed, “I’m starting to think you only want me for my kisses.” she joked.
“I want you, all of you.”
Hearing those words her giggling stopped as she turned her head to the left facing Melody. The girl hadn’t seemed like she was joking rather the opposite.
“Melody—”
Melody shook her head cutting Rose’s words short and incomplete. “Not now, I know and I’ll wait.” she smiled genuinely as she stared at the beautiful woman before her.
She didn’t expect those words at all or her calmness for that matter. Seating upright Rose crossed her legs her gaze on Melody, “I want you too, a lot. I’m just afraid you’ll leave or I’ll loose you — most probably mess up before that.” speaking she let her face fall staring at her hands as she played fingers, interlocking them.
Following her moment Melody sat up as well, leaning closer to Rose she placed both her hands on either sides of her shoulder. “Wait Rose you wo—”
“I don’t want to loose you. You are the best thing that has happened to me in a long time.” she spoke, her hands finding their way to Melody’s she lightly squeezed her hand before throwing in a faint smile.
Staring into those eyes, those green orbs was something she like and truly enjoyed but not now — not while they carried a hint of sadness. She wanted it gone, kiss it away if she could and assure her of the uncertain.
That wasn’t something she did though, something she couldn’t do but there were words she could say. “As you are to me, you won’t loose me.” she reassured her giving her hands a light squeeze.
Rose just smiled her eyes lost in her brown eyes, her body pressed further — much closer to Melody’s untill she felt the warmth on her own lips.
Letting her emotions — the love she had for that girl guide her, Rose pressed further into the kiss deepening it and pouring out a lot emotion.
She had kissed her countless times and she would kiss her countless more, each kiss light, deep, long or short was something she enjoyed doing — loved. Everytime she felt her warmth she melted, she loved the effect Melody had on her — it kept her sane.
Pulling out of the Kiss, Rose pressed her forehead against Melody’s each equally panting for breath and both smiling.
“What would you like to do.” Melody whispered running her index finger up and down Rose’s forearm that earned a giggle from the other girl, a sweet cute giggle.
Rose looked up to meet Melody’s gaze, her eyes carried mischief. Pulling her head away from Melody’s she gave her an innocent smile before pushing her back to the covers, taking Melody totally off guard.
Climbing right on top of the girl Rose chuckled studying Melody’s facial expression. Placing a light peck on her lips she spoke, “Just lay here with you, in your arms.” with those said the girl fully began making herself comfortable, trying to roll off Melody she was stopped by an arm pulling her in position — on top of her.
Pulling the covers over them Melody placed a kiss on top of Rose’s head. “I love you Rosanna LaSalle.” she whispered hugging Rose.
“I—”
Melody shushed her, “When your ready love.” was all she said before the comforting silence settled before them.
She was comfortable in her arms, on top of her, she liked it a lot. And her mind was comfortably thinking of how lucky she got, to have found such a loving soul. Smiling Rose closed her eyes letting the darkness fill in as her ear listened to the girl’s heartbreak as she slept.
“I do love you Melody Tune.”
