Hello stranger! Glad to see you've found your way to this story.
In this little snippet we'll look at And it all comes crashing down by MysteryMaiden, but with a little twist:
What if... there was another Angel on the mortal plane, living his life disguised as a mortal human, guiding lost souls into the afterlife with the help of his friend; one of the eight original Lilim?

It was pouring. The wind relentlessly assaulted the room high windows connecting their office to the outside world while the palm trees bowed to it's might. Periodically, lightning sprawled over the pitch black sky, accompanied by the booming thunder that followed closely after.
Beleth, more commonly known as Silas amongst his human coworkers, kept stealing worried glances of his angelic counterpart.Rumion had abandoned his work the minute the thunderstorm had started to pick up outside. This had been ten minutes ago, and the cup of coffee he'd brought was most likely cold by now.
This hadn't only been noticed by Beleth but also Shannon, who was now making her way over to the angel.
"Mason? You alright?", she asked.
As she did so, she laid a hand on his shoulder, startling him.
"Hm? Oh, oh yeah, it's nothing. I'm alright. No worries.", he smiled at her, though the smile didn't reach his eyes.
This had the Lilim even more on edge. So he waited until their seemingly satisfied friend made her way back to her desk, close to where Mick and Steven were working, and stood up, crouching down next to where the dark eyed man was lost in thought again."Why did you lie? There's no shame in admitting you're afraid of a little bit of thunder.", he joked, hoping to ease the tension a little. Rumion sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose, his eyes screwed shut.
"It's not the thunderstorm I'm worried about, but the cause behind it." He was whispering by now, anxiously looking down at the demon who now motioned to pull his chair over to the angels desk.
"What do you mean 'cause'?", he inquired as he sat down. "Not like 'dad is pissed off' cause, right?"
He was rather afraid of the answer to this question, as it could possibly mean that someone, or something, had angered God himself to the extent of unleashing his wrath onto Los Angeles.
But right as the Celestial opened his mouth to answer, the loudspeaker over their heads sprung to life._______________________________________
Everything was a blur.
Lucifer was hurt.
Hurt hurt hurt.
And father was angry, oh so angry.
His anger shook the foundations of the silver city and Sandalphon didn't want to think about how the mortal plane was doing right now.
Earth, where his little brother Rumion was.
Everyone was huddled together in front of the infirmary, standing vigil, never leaving their post.
Sandalphon knew that his brother's injuries were caused by humans and he also knew that their Father would unleash destruction like it had never been seen before onto the mortal plane.
The oldest of heavens first triplets couldn't leave the youngest there, even if he wanted, oh so desperately, to be at Lucifers side like only a few of their siblings were allowed to be.
It would only take a few minutes.
Balthazar, who was standing right next to him, had noticed his turmoil.
Tears where streaking down her face, her eyes puffy and swollen.
Sandalphon didn't look much different, though he was a little more put together as his sister.
Silently, to not irritate any of their other siblings, he asked the blonde haired angel if she wanted to come with him.
None of them were allowed into the infirmary other than Amenadiel, Azrael, Michael and of course their Father while Raphael was trying to stabilze the Mornigstar.
The wait outside was torturous.
Balthazar nodded, and with a beat ot their wings, they were gone.
