Bakugou stood with his arms crossed, regretting every decision that led him to bring toddler Deku to his so-called squad. He barely got a word in before chaos erupted.
"OH MY GOSH! HE'S SO ADORABLE!" Mina squealed, practically vibrating with excitement. "I just wanna squish his little face! EEEEEEE!"
Kirishima grinned and leaned forward to examine the mini Midoriya. "Yeah, who knew Mido-bro could be this cute as a kid? Still super manly, though!"
"How did this even happen?" Sero asked, turning to Bakugou.
"I dunno," Bakugou muttered, scowling. "Probably some idiot's quirk."
Kaminari squinted suspiciously. "Hmm... kinda sus there, Bakugou. WAIT—did you turn Mido-bro into a toddler for revenge?!"
Bakugou's expression darkened. "The HELL, Dunce Face?! Why would I even do that?! And HOW?!"
"Guys, STOP!" Mina interrupted, her hands flailing. "Who cares how it happened? The point is, HE'S ADORABLE!"
Bakugou rolled his eyes, muttering curses under his breath as Mina continued to dote on toddler Deku.
"Actually," Kaminari said, trying to regain the group's attention, "shouldn't we focus on turning him back to normal?"
"Looks like someone finally managed to say something smart for once!", Mina said in a mocking tone.
"What do you mean by THAT!?", Kaminari asked Mina facing her.
Mina shrugged dismissively. "Yeah, yeah, eventually we'll turn him back. But for now, LOOK AT HIS FACE!"
"That's what I'm saying," Kaminari said, exasperated. "What do you mean 'eventually'?! Don't you think his squad is gonna notice he's gone?"
"We'll figure that out later," Mina said, grinning. "One day with him won't hurt, right?"
Meanwhile, toddler Midoriya sat quietly, wide-eyed, as the loud and colorful group argued. And the group was an odd bunch. There was Ms. Bubblegum Alien, Mr. Pikachu, Mr. Tomato and Mr. Smiles A Lot.
He glanced at Bakugou, who stood nearby looking both annoyed and, strangely enough, a little amused. It was comforting, in a way. Even in this unfamiliar situation, Kacchan was still Kacchan.
A tap on his shoulder startled him. When he turned, everyone was staring at him. Bakugou smirked like he was trying not to laugh.
"You haven't changed at all, Mido-babe!" Ms. Bubblegum Alien teased, her grin practically glowing.
Midoriya blinked in confusion. "Wha—" He suddenly realized he'd been muttering to himself.
Ms. Bubblegum Alien clapped her hands. "Alright, little guy! My name's Mina Ashido! You can call me Mina!"
The introductions came quickly after that. Mr. Tomato beamed as he said, "I'm Eijiro Kirishima! Nice to meet you!"
"The name's Denki Kaminari," Mr. Pikachu said with a wink.
"And I'm Hanta Sero,"Mr. Smiles A Lot added, giving a casual wave.
Midoriya smiled shyly. "Oh, uh, nice to meet you... Mina, Kirishima, Kaminari, and Sero!"
"See? He's so polite! I love him already," Mina declared dramatically.
Sero chuckled. "So, what now? Do we tell the squad about this, or...?"
"No way!" Mina protested.
"Why not?" Kaminari asked, frowning.
"Because they'll take him away! We can't let them steal him from us. We deserve some quality time with Baby Deku!"
"He's not exactly a baby-", Sero comes to interject but gets cut off.
Kirishima scratched the back of his head. "I mean, won't they be kinda mad if we don't tell them?"
Mina waved it off. "Nah, they'll get over it. Just one day. What's the harm?"
Midoriya tilted his head, looking between them all. "So... we're hanging out today?"
"YES!" Mina shouted with an enthusiastic nod. "We are absolutely hanging out today, Izuku!"
The group cheered, already making plans for their impromptu day with their adorable, pint-sized friend, while Bakugou pinched the bridge of his nose and muttered, "Idiots. All of them."
