The Bakusquad's first plan for the day was to find Izuku some new clothes since his current oversized attire wasn't it.

"Alright, there's a store just ahead!" Mina said excitedly, pointing toward a bright boutique.

"Uh...who's paying?" Kaminari asked, side-eyeing everyone.

Without a word, the group turned to Bakugou, whose scowl deepened with each passing second.

"...What the hell are you extras looking at me for?"

"..."

"Oh."

In unison, the Bakusquad—joined by Midoriya—put on their most pitiful puppy-dog eyes.

"I SWEAR TO—UGH! FINE! JUST QUIT IT WITH THOSE FREAKING FACES!" Bakugou barked, stomping into the store as the group cheered behind him.

While the rest of the group dove into racks of clothes and accessories, Bakugou leaned against the wall, his arms crossed, keeping an eye on Deku and the others.

But something caught his attention. A figure in a dark hoodie was lurking near the back of the store, watching them. Their stance was stiff, and there was something uncomfortably familiar about their posture. Just as Bakugou locked eyes with them, they disappeared in a flash of pink light.

"Tch," he muttered, narrowing his eyes. He shook it off and returned to glaring at his friends as Deeku dragged Mina to yet another All Might merch display.

Mina had envisioned a day of dressing baby Deku in the cutest outfits she could find, turning him into a walking doll for Instagram-worthy photos. Instead, the tables turned as Deku excitedly dragged her around.

"Look, Mina! This shirt has two All Might logos!"

"Yeah, Zuku, that's great," Mina said with a strained smile, her arms already full of hero merch.

By the time they left the store, everyone was carrying bags—and Deku clutched a plush All Might figure in his arms, grinning ear to ear.

As they walked back to the dorms, the squad enjoyed some ice cream. Deku sat on Bakugou's shoulders, babbling excitedly.

"Mutter... mutter... mutter..." Izuku began, lost in his thoughts.

"DEKU, WILL YOU SHUT UP FOR ONCE?!" Bakugou shouted, startling the toddler.

"Ah! Sorry, Kacchan!" Deku said quickly, clutching his plushie tighter.

Mina leaned closer, whispering to Izuku, "Hey, Zuku, you don't need to apologize for everything, you know."

"But Kacchan looked annoyed..." Izuku mumbled.

Mina sighed, patting his head.

Kirishima reached up, ruffling Izuku's hair. "Hey, Mini-Mido-bro, it was fun hanging out with you today. You've got a lot of energy for a little guy!"

"Yeah, it was a blast!" Kaminari chimed in, with Sero nodding along.

Deku blinked, surprised. "You guys really think so?"

Everyone nodded—except Bakugou, who was busy glaring at the sidewalk as though it had insulted him.

"Y'know," Kirishima said, eyeing Bakugou, "you've been kinda quiet today, man. Something on your mind?"

"Tch. I just don't feel like wasting my breath on you morons," Bakugou growled, shoving his hands into his pockets.

Deku tilted his head, whispering to Mina. "Kacchan hasn't really changed much, huh?"
