Chapter 10

JJ's Pov:

Me and Pope both stood there in shock as the rest of the crowd started to loose interest. "H..h..how" Pope said running up to his two best friends that he thought was dead. I joined him hugging John B and Sarah.

"Where's Kie?" Sarah said looking around. "Ummm" Me and Pope said in unison. We sat there and told John B and Sarah everything. We left out the part where me and Kie began dating, we both thought it wasn't really important.

John B and Sarah sat there shocked. "Are we allowed to visit her?" Sarah said getting up implying she wanted to go now. "Obviously not visiting hours are over, but we can visit her tomorrow early in the morning at 8." I said. I probably made it obvious that I visited a lot since John B and Sarah gave me a weird look.

Next morning at 8:

I woke up to John B, Sarah, and Pope getting ready for something. "Where are y'all going?" I said getting up from John B's couch. "Going to see Kie obviously." John B said acting like it was obvious.

"Wasn't really that obvious but ok." I said shrugging my shoulders. We got into the Twinkie and started driving to the hospital Kie was in. "We're here to see Ki-" John B said but I cut him off. "Me and Pope already know where her room is we don't need that." I said grabbing John B and walking towards Kie's room. Sarah and Pope followed.

When we got there I could see John B and Sarah get nervous. "Why are you two nervous?" Pope chuckled, staring them up and down. "I don't really know." They said in unison while staring at the ground.

"Well don't be." I said as I opened the door. I was the first to walk in to see if Kie was awake or not. Thankfully she was. "Hi JJ." Kie said looking up from her phone. "Hey Kie, I have a surprise for you." I said fiddling with my fingers. I gestured for John B and Sarah to come in, when they did Kie sat there in shock.

Kie's Pov:

I couldn't believe that the two people I thought were dead were standing right in front of me. "No way are you guys are real?!?" I asked almost shouting. When I did a doctor heard me and came running in. "What's wrong...wait a minute." The doctor said taking a closer look at John B. "Aren't you that boy that killed Sheriff Peterkin?" The doctor asked pointing at John B and getting closer to him.

"No doc I can promise you it wasn't me." John B said putting his hands back while backing up. The doctor tried to say something but John B had already quickly ran behind him. The doctor turned around and when he did John B and Sarah were already gone.

"Do you guys know him?!?" The doctor said pointing at us all. I was so worried about John B that I didn't even respond like everyone else. They had all said no so the doctor walked out to go and tell the other people that were working there what had just happened. "What the hell just happened?!?" I said looking at JJ and Pope as they stood there in shock.

After they had gone out of their state of shock they told me what had happened at the party. I still couldn't believe they were alive. "Do you guys know where they might've went?" I said but before JJ or Pope could respond a police officer accompanied with a doctor walked in. It was the same doctor that recognized John B.

"Hello there everyone I'm here to ask you all some questions about this Routledge kid." The cop said pulling out a small notepad and pen. "We can promise you officer none of us know anything about that guy." JJ said. "Can you at least tell me how this doctor found him in here?" The officer said pointing to the doctor that was now standing there with his arms crossed. I had the biggest urge to get up and punch him.

"Well you say officer I came here to visit my girlfriend but when I did this John kid was standing in this room and she was asleep." JJ said pointing to me. Pope stood there silently, I could see his nervousness. I could tell he didn't wanna go to jail, but why would we. "Ok well how about you." The officer said pointing to me. "Do you know how that kid got in here?" The officer asked.

"No sir, I woke up and found my boyfriend, our friend, that random girl, and whatever his name was." I said pointing to JJ and Pope. "Ok." The officer said walking out. While me, JJ, and Pope were talking about what we should do a doctor popped her head in. "Kiara me and the other doctors have talked and we think you are ready to head home." The doctor said as she removed everything from me and handing me my stuff. I got out of my hospital bed with the help of JJ. We all had to walk to the chaetaeu since the Twinkie was obviously taken by John B and Sarah.

When we arrived at the chaetaeu there was John B and Sarah waiting for us. "Omg Kie!!" Sarah said hugging me tight. "We have a lot of catching up to do." I said grabbing Sarah's hand and walking into John B's room.
