Chapter 2

JJ's Pov:

Last night was amazing. It made me feel a lot more understood. I always tried my hardest to deny my feelings for Kie. I tried multiple times to get with her and it never worked so I just decided to stop.

"Can we just stay here forever?" Kie said staring at the beautiful sunset. "I wish we could but you know we can't." I said frowning, staring at Kie as she smiled at how beautiful the sunset was. "Who says we can't?" Kie says laying down and closing her eyes as she slowly fell asleep.

I did the same. I laid down next to her and just stared at the sand. After a while Kie slowly put her hand around and nuzzled her face in my back. It it felt so comforting and made all my anger and sadness fade away. We laid there till the morning when we woke up we were more well rested than we've ever been.

(End of Flashback)
I got up from John B's couch and sat there for a bit thinking about how amazing last night was. While I was reminiscing a got a call from Kie. "Hey JJ, we need u come to the wreck we have some great evidence that can clear John B's name." When I heard I ended the call and started running as fast as I could to the wreck.

When I arrived Pope was holding a letter and Kie was pacing back and forth.

"What's the letter say Pope?" I said when Kie heard me she jumped a little. "Omg you're finally here. Hurry up Pope open the letter". She said. Which made me realize that they haven't even opened it yet.

"Hurry up Pope read it!" I said anxiously.

"Dear Mr. Heyward,
We have evidence that can clear your friend John B's name. But we want something from you. Tomorrow come by to my house ********** alone at 3pm sharp."

"Huh?!?" I said staring at the letter again. This was some of the stupidest things I've ever read.

"Come alone that's so weird." Kie said also staring at the letter.

"I'm gonna do it I have no other choice." Pope while fidgeting with the envelope.

"Are you sure that seems really unsafe?" Kie said.

"Yes I'm sure I have no other choice."

"Ok but be careful just let us know when you're leaving." I said walking out of Popes house. Kie waved to Pope while also walking out.

"Hey Kie can u drive me home?" I asked following Kie to her car. "Yea of course. But not to your dads house your coming over to my house."

We got in the car and she started driving to her house. When we got there Kie told me to stay in her car so I did. "I'm gonna go in and see if my parents are asleep you wait here."

Kie is walked into her huge house and came back after a couple minutes.

"They're asleep but you have to be extra quiet when you walk in."

We both walked in as quietly as we could. Kie let me wear some of her dad's pajamas.

"You can sleep with me in my room." She said showing me to her room.

"Really are you sure?" I said. I was shocked she was actually ok with that.

"Yea of course."

General Pov:

They both laid down next to each other under the warm blanket.

"Hey Kie." JJ said climbing into bed next to Kie.

"Yea." Kie said half asleep.

"Thank you." JJ said as he put his arm around Kie and fell asleep.

Kie laid shocked and couldn't go to sleep because of what he said. She always hid her feelings for JJ deep down into her heart but recently they've been coming back. Same goes for JJ. When Kie started dating Pope he stopped flirting with her a funny way and getting close to her. But now those feelings are coming back and he's doing all those things again. Maybe it's love or maybe they're just confused.
