Flicker was Jungwon's favorite song. He already liked it a lot during I-Land and he was truly happy that they recorded it as Enhypen as well. He especially loved that he shared dance moves with Jay.
He was laying in bed, listening to the music.
He had heard people saying that being in love could totally change the meaning of a song, and now he felt it the most.

The song continued.
"Even if we aren't touching,
it feels like you and I are one"*

Jungwon smiled. Four days had passed since their first kiss and they kept communicating through little notes. Jungwon was amazed by how Jay acted differently around him. He was always soft, gentle and caring with him. Regarding their relationship, Jay was very cautious and discreet, which could sound unexpected knowing angry bird Jay.
They had decided to keep their couple secret, because firstly they didn't know how the members would react, and they really didn't want their company to know too.
And I must keep this secret from the council.

They both had the feeling that something was off with other members, as if they all talked behind the couple's back. After talking about it, they realized that it was probably just a feeling. They were a bit worried, that's all.

Nonetheless, they still managed to spend a few minutes together here and there. When they were surrounded, they only hugged or casually touched each other's arms or shoulders. They also met alone on the balcony twice, which were very sweet memories.

The song was almost finished as Jungwon received a text message. He frowned a bit.
Who's texting me at 3 am?

It was his host mother. Apparently, some agents from the Council came by a few hours ago and they kept asking questions about Jungwon. They were really mad at him for "acting like a vampire" on the video.
She finished her message with a warning.
"Be careful, they're not here to joke."

Jungwon put his phone down and closed his eyes.
I guess it was too good to be true. Of course they're mad at me because of the mv. But it's weird they didn't come here right away. Is it because there are to many humans here?
Maybe I should write to the Council, explaining the whole concept of our group. It should help them understand what is happening. After all, no one suspects a thing.
I've been eating and acting like a human from the beginning. I even mastered being fake asleep and waking up in the morning.
I've took my pills twice a day every day and there was no accident (almost).
Yes, I think if I explain everything they'll understand.

Jungwon got up in silence and once again headed for the kitchen.
He spent a lot of time writing his letter. It needed to be very formal, clear and precise. Every word counted.

After finishing it, he carefully placed the letter in an envelope, closed it and headed for the bedroom to hide it.
Jungwon really didn't want to go back to his bed. He was used to being alone at night, but it became boring, especially after starting his new relationship with Jay.
After five minutes of hesitation, he decided to try something new.

He got closer to Jay's bed and looked at him. He was sleeping on his side, facing the wall. Jungwon decided to just go for it and delicately laid next to Jay.
He wanted to enjoy being near Jay and he didn't think that the latter would notice it, as usually he slept profoundly.
But as soon as he put his head on the pillow, Jay turned around. He must have felt that there was something strange, because he opened his eyes a little. He recognized Jungwon and got closer to him, with his head and his arm on the vampire's chest.
Jungwon stood there without moving. He both enjoyed every second of this embrace and stayed alert for any noise in the room, which hopefully didn't happen.
