Chapter 65 Her ability

Alex Pov:

We successfully completed the mission doing ; we were attacked by other mafia leaders to take control over underground business. Last time they group up with local mafia but this time they group up with other country mafias.

It was a little tough combat but we take them down in five days. David and I are here for this fight , nick was taking care of business , zack was accompanying my pregnant sister. She was nearly at the end of third trimester.

After 5 days long fight, I was exhausted because working day and night without sleep, I hand over remaining work to my subordinates and left to house.

The first thing I did after fresh up is to call ana, but her phone was switch off. I check the time; it was evening she might be in work. I lay on the bed checking for the interview.

I skip others and start to listen from ana's interview. Hearing her voice makes me fresh and active. This was the effect of love, how much you are tired seeing your loved ones makes you refresh.

I am slightly happy that she said she had a boyfriend, but I will be happy when I am beside her and tell the world my identity as her boyfriend. Seeing again and again the interview I slowly drifted to sleep.

I slept for three hours and it was already night. I am having the dinner send by David and calling ana. Even now her phone was switch off. By now all must go back from work, then why did ana phone was off till now.

I call the management know indirectly whether they are doing any overtime, Project manager said all are left. I called ana spacing in the hall. While I was thinking I remember Laura also was with ana, I called Laura. She didn't lift first, I called her again. This time she lifts the call,

" Hello" I called eagerly.

"Hello, Mr. King what can I do for you?" Laura said with a tense voice.

" Is ana with you?" I asked.

"Sir... " She hesitates.

" Is she with you?" I asked her again. But she was not replying .

" What the fuck is your problem?" I exploded. " I asked you where is she? Is she safe? Why her phone is off?"

" Sir, Ms. Khanna .... Was not here" she replied at last.

" Then where she is?" I asked, the more time was pass, the more I was worried.

" Sir, I don't know where she went" she said.

" What?" I asked impatiently.

"She allotted all the work and left two days before."

" Do you know where she left?"

" I don't know sir"

" Then what the hell do you know?" I shouted on the phone.

She hesitates but last said something that makes me annoyed.

" Do you check news about the project?"

" Now, I want to know about where ana is, not about the project" I retort.

" It was better to check the news first sir." I kept her on line and check the news on phone.

Seeing the news my grip on the phone is hard, other hand turn into a fist without my knowing I hit the tea table which was now break into pieces.

" When did it happen?" I questioned her with a demanding tone.

I can feel other side was shivering to speak " Next day after the interview."
