chapter 4 Presentation

Ana's pov:

I woke up from my sleep due to alarm noise. Lazily getup from my bed and walk to bathroom to fresh up. Today I have to first check restaurant ,then show designs to clients of their house ,next having meeting with King's company.

You may think I am planning my schedule where is my PA. Sorry I don't have any PA. I always schedule my projects and meetings .I told before that "I DON'T LIKE DEPEND ON OTHERS". Someone may try to cheat us. Why giving chance to them.

After completion of my routine, went to restaurant and meet manager to discuss about the requirements and other work. At 10:30 Am I went to show the designs to clients. They like it and gave advance to start our work.

In my "Khanna interior designing" I have 8 members works under my control. They all are best ,\ and think differently (think out of the box).

Already 4 members are working on another project. I send remaining 4 members to this work, by telling them their tasks. They will maintain and complete  remaining work. This is one of the benefit, they full fill their task without any mistake and makes my work easier.

I have meeting at 1:00PM. First I reach to king's company and search for near café. I went to near café for lunch but I don't have time so I will take cappuccino with cream I thought. I stand in the queue for my turn but the man stand back is misbehaving with me (falling on me and saying that back people are pushing ,keeping hands on me) But patiently i am leaving this is not right time but that stupid keep hands on waist that's it I will not tolerate it.

Every person has limits, so I slap that person with out thinking . Then I watch the person i slap, he is not the man misbehave with me he move aside when I was about to slap. The man I slap was the man I bumped yesterday at club. I closed my mouth with my hands  I don't know what to say so I say sorry . I don't know that he can hear it or not . I walked out from the cafe by seeing weather  any one see that  I slap that man. By god grace   no one watch it thank god.

I have to go for meeting with empty stomach. I went to the company it looks at least it have 50 to 60 floors. In bold letters written KINGS PVT LMTD

I went to reception saw a blond hair women with full make up and her dress looks like slut no doubt in that. "Good Afternoon mam. How can I help you" she asked in fake smile. I replied "I have meeting with Mr. King afternoon at 1:00 ". Then she done some call and replied me "Go straight and turn left you find elevator go to 58 floor Mr. King secretary will receive you there" I told thankyou and leave from there.

When I reach elevator the door was about to close, the person in the elevator stop the doors to close. I entered the lift and told thanks to him. When I was seeing surroundings I watch the same stranger here again. I scold my fate why I have to face this man again. Without realization I asked him "By the chance you work here ? " He did not reply anything shows blank face expression.

Then lift stops with ding sound the man step out the elevator without reply.

The man in lift asks me to which floor. I said him to which floor I should go and praying god to help me to be my side that I should not pity my self anymore by such things .

When lift stops ,I stepped out and see a woman at late 30's walk towards me. She introduce herself and completed wishing each other ,she is secretary of Mr. king ,Mrs. Charles . She says that the Mr. King will come in few minutes." If you want to prepare your presentation , then you can set it  in conference room. All the members will come in few minutes" and show me the conference room.

After sometime the office members starts to come. I can't see their faces because lights are off  for the presentation. Then the man sat at head chair said "Start the presentation Ms. Khanna" I felt like I hear that voice before but I don't care now. I have to present my best. I take deep breathe and start presentation before that  I introduce myself then I start explaining my designs to them .After speaking for 20 min, I ended presentation by asking if they have any queries. Some members ask some queries, I replied confidently. Mr. King did not question anything, he only listening.

After the presentation completed I take my place then lights are on . I was shocked to see the same stranger I met in the club and at café sit at the head chair. That means he is Mr. King. ( Alexander black king ).

I under stood that I will not get this project. I was nervous that I did not listen any thing they are talking. At last Mr. king said that " I will give this project to you" "what" I replied in shock. How can he give me this project. Then again he replied "I said that you work with us in this project" . "thank you sir. This is a great pleasure to work with you " I replied to him. "we will talk about remaining work in my cabin" he continued "see you Ms. Khanna" with a small smirk on the face he left the room. All are congratulating me. But I was thinking that why he selects me, or he want to take revenge on me or what.

With that stupid thoughts I was worried, first I cooled myself and decide to tell sorry for yesterday and todays behavior. Then  I politely cancel the offer and leave this place , then I did not need to see his face again.

I reach Mr. King cabin with the help of secretary, there is a name on door with bold letters ( Mr. Alexander Black King CEO ) . I took a deep breath and knocked the door.

"Come in" I heard him say. I prayed god for one last time and entered the cabin. I walked in to see a Mr. King sitting on huge desk looking gorgeous. I never get time to see his look . OMG he look like a Greek god with perfect biceps you can guess that he do work out so much to have a fit body and eight pack under the suit. I scold myself for thinking like that. This is  not correct.

I made sure I kept my face neutral as I walked towards his desk. At the corner of my eyes I could see how beautiful the cabin is. It occupies large space for guess my apartment size. It looks beautiful having couch at right end and coffee table before it. And there is another door I guess is Washroom.

I stopped few feet away from his desk waiting for him to look up.

"Good Afternoon Ms. Khanna" he stated. At the moment he looked up and i see a familiar blue eyes that I could not forget whole night.

Taking deep breath I replied " Good Afternoon Mr. King" And continued without giving any time to talk him.

"I am really sorry sir. I don't know who you are until I meet you in the conference room. Yesterday at club I talked with you in a rude manner. But I was not in a good mood yesterday, so I talked in rude behavior. I can say to you in a polite manner. And in the café the man behind me was misbehaving with me I already told him to not behave like that but he again doing same so I want to slap him. I don't know when you came. So I am really sorry for my rude behavior and slap" I told in one breathe

I continued " then About work , I don't know from where do you find out me. I am not a famous designer, you can have most famous interior designers in your company. I only work for small and local places. So I don't want to accept you're offer. This is not like I am afraid of you or work, I never done projects for the famous company. So it is better to offer that job to any famous designers or the person that can suitable for this job" "Thankyou for giving me a chance sir . Now can I take leave? Mr. King" I replied and about to leave then I stopped by hearing his voice.

"I want to talk to you for a while. Ms. Khanna" he replied in business tone.
