Before the storm

Percy's pov.

I was having the best dream me and annabeth were picking strawberries while talking and laughing

The I was pulled out of my dream when Steve came in
"Percy wake up its time to work" he said I sighed as rolled away from him so I was facing away

"Go way steve ima sleeping" I muttered into my pillow

Next thing I know Steve walked over to the right side of my bed and lifted it up I tumble out of bed onto the floor

I said nothing an grabbed my pillow and curled up on he floor "that all you got?" I said an went back to sleep

"Don't make me get Thor to electrocute you again" he said firmly and I bolted to my feet

"UUUUHHHHH" I yelled and stalked out of the room in my pajama shorts

The team never cared if they saw my scar but I covered it with the mist anyway

I went into the kitchen with Steve behind me Bruce saw my angry look and handed a coffee to me quickly

The last time I got mad in the morning the sink exploded

On all floors

"I don't want to go to school" I muttered childishly Steve sighed
"Fine you don't have to work out today but you do need school" he said fatherly

I shrugged "good enough for me" and chugged my coffee down

I went to my room muttering how unfair it was that the others got to stay asleep while I had school

It was my last day

And if I got through it I had a day off of the avengers working camp training

And I had a date with annabeth

I threw on a green v neck and blue jeans and my nikes

I threw on my watch and camp necklace and grabbed my backpack and ran to the door tripping over my armor on the way

I sighed and ran to the door

I slammed into Steve and fell to the floor "this day is going to suck I can tell already" I wined from the floor he laughed and helped me up

"Can't be that bad" the elevator opened and director fury stepped out

"There's trouble in Central Park " he said

I punched Steve on the shoulder

"You jinxed it!" I screamed and ran past fury "bye sir I'm late" I lied and road to school on my skateboard

I finished all the way to seventh period before I felt it

A monster

I looked around class ,students talked and chatted while the teacher lectured us

'Where are you?' I thought and grabbed my pen

"Sir!" I yelled he stopes and looked at me sharply "what is it?"

"I think I'm going to barf!" I said trying to keep a straight face he pointed at the door quickly and I bolted out

I snorted and ran down the hallway out the back doors without being seen
'Yes I'm out of the school and out of trouble now where is..."

I was interrupted from my thought when a low growl pierced the air
