Two weeks passed since my kiss with Ansel . My first kiss

The next morning I woke up with a crazy headache. Mariz helped me get ready for breakfast. Ansel had left on the night of the kiss. He did not even notify me. There was no way I could communicate with him. From what it seemed I was the only one worried

Two weeks without his news. Sometimes I wondered if something bad had happened, but Tella didn't talk much about it either. The days were spent quietly in the palace without Ansel. Without his voice filling the aisles of the castle or his jokes making everyone laugh , the place was silent. Everyone was working quietly without mood, as if Ansel was the life of this place .

We finished breakfast once again without talking. All I could do was take walks in the garden. I had not left the castle at all since the guards said it was too dangerous after what happened to my mom .

Lunch time arrived and when I went to the dining room Ansel was there. He seemed exhausted. I ran over him. "Where were you? I was so worried that I was about to go crazy, I tried to contact you but I did not know how and -" his lips pressed against mine. He passed his hand around my waist raising me to the table to reach him better

I ran my hands through his now longer hair. He pulled my waist closer to him with a quick movement. He started kissing my neck with open wet kisses until it reached my ear and I could feel his hot breath on my skin. I did not understand that I was biting my lower lip until he passed his finger and pulled them out of my teeth before kissing them once again "I missed you, I'm sorry I left like this, there were burglaries all over the village but they were all small, thankfully without fire, they just stole money from the citizens" he looked me in the eyes

"I was worried that something bad had happened you should at least have said something to Mariz" he took a deep breath putting my hand on his. The way he touched me made me feel butterflies in my stomach. He was gently.

" I know I will notify you first next time" my eyes widened at his words " what do you mean next time ?" he signed

" Until we find who is responsible about everything that is happening right now I will have to visit the village daily" I took a deep breath "since my father isn't hear I will have to do all his jobs until he is back" he added " I will find a way to spend more time with you , how about now ? How about horse riding?" he remembered "only if you let me ride Death' I said crossing my hands on my chest like a child , looking at him with a look for of confidence

He chuckled making me shiver " okay but you will be careful , promise ?" I nodded with a proud smile on my face " I promise" I said and I got off the table and sat in the chair next to me.

He looked at me with a look full of curiosity "we have to eat first, we never say no to food" I replied with a smirk and crossed my legs making him look at my long legs that were now showing from the opening of the dress " you are right" he looked at me one more time and sat in the chair opposite me .
