"How was it! How was your first day?" Peter shouted excitedly down the phone, Aries had just gotten back and straight away called him.
"It was good- little embarrassing when I took a quill out instead of a pen-"
"Oh no."
"Yeah, could have warned me that muggles haven't used quills since the 19th century." Aries said, shaking her head.
"I packed you pens."
"I couldn't find them, I swear I've never heard silence so loud." she laughed into the phone. "Although the girl next to me found it funny, she even asked to use it."
"That's good."
"Oh and I've applied to work at a restaurant just down the road, hopefully I get it and then I am basically set for life- well until I finish Uni."
"Wow, you're going to get your Muggle badge soon."
"Can't wait." she smiled. "How is everyone?"
"Yeah, they're all good. They're all keeping busy."
"With work?"
"Umm." Peter hesitated before continuing. "Not with work, necessarily. We've sort of joined the Order of the Phoenix."
"The what?" she asked, furrowing her eyebrows.
"It's an organisation set up by Dumbledore, to help defeat You-Know-Who."
Aries swallowed. "What?"
"It's going to help-"
"I'm coming back-"
"No, Aries. You've worked hard for this you don't need to-"
"You're all fighting and I'm just sitting here- I'm not going to let you do that." she said, "Have all of you done it?"
There was silence on the other end.
"Peter?"
"Aries, you don't need to come back. You've worked hard for this, okay. We're all going to be fine, only Sirius and James have gone on a mission-"
"What?"
"Star, please."
"Peter if something happens-"
"It's not going to happen, it's going to be fine. I promise." he said, his voice was filled with reassurance.
"I just don't think it's fair that I'm here doing nothing."
"You're not doing nothing-"
He was cut off by a scream but it wasn't from his end.
