I Couldn't Have Done That....Right?

All hope was lost at that moment when Loki and (Y/N) had to look for Sylvie, finding her sitting on a rock near a lake. Loki was the first to move towards her, sitting down next to her. A heavy lump was forming in (Y/N)'s throat watching them look at each other, coughing a bit, "I'm going to try and find a way out." She was about to walk away, but Sylvie quickly grabbed her arm to pull her back. She didn't say anything, but (Y/N) got it anyway. Going over to the other side of her, (Y/N) made her usual cloud and closed her eyes to try and find where they were specifically through the shadows.

"I'm sorry," Loki told Sylvie. She simply nodded at that for a while, "I remember Asgard. Not much, but I remember. My home, my people, my life." With all of (Y/N)'s might, she couldn't see anything that could be useful and that scared her the most. She finally had the power of Eris, why weren't they working? Her thoughts were redirected to the conversation right next to her. "The universe wants to break free, so it manifests chaos. Like me being born the Goddess of Mischief. As soon as that created a big enough detour from the Sacred Timeline, the TVA showed up, erased my reality, and took me prisoner," Sylvie explained. She soon went on, "I was just a child. I escaped. Stole a Tempad and I ran for a long, long time, which really sucked. Everywhere and every when I went, it caused a nexus event. Until, eventually, I figured out where to hide. And so that's where I grew up, the ends of a thousand worlds. Now that's where I'll die." (Y/N) tried not to cry, trying even harder to find a way out. Why wasn't it working!? There has to be somewhere where she could travel through  the shadows to get away from this, what is going on?!

"Do you think that what makes a Loki a Loki is the fact that we're destined to lose?" She asked. That thought was a bit familiar to (Y/N) as she held back even more tears, being one of the made up reasons she thought of when thinking back on why shouldn't save the other 2 Loki's. "No," Loki answered. "We may lose, sometimes painfully, but we don't die. We survive." They both stared at each for a second when (Y/N) finally looked over. "I mean, you did," Loki smiled a bit at Sylvie. "You were just a child when the TVA took you, but you nearly took down the organization that claims to govern the order of time. You did it on your own. You ran rings around them. You're amazing!" (Y/N) smiled at him cheering her up, but it started to crack when she held his hand. Why was her chest heavy? No, he's not....he couldn't. He promised not to do that, but he is still is! ....So this is what feeling forgotten by the one you love the most feels like...it feels like hell.

At least Sylvie unknowingly pulled (Y/N) up a bit from that think by grabbing her hand as well. She looked over at her, and quickly hid all of her thinking with a smile. Everything got louder, rocks flew closer to them, and they just sat there and waited. Then two orange portals stood behind them, it was the TVA and some Minute Men. That moment was the definition of a blessing and a curse. They were saved, but also captured. The three of them were escorted roughly down the halls to different interrogation rooms, Sylvie was the first to get one and Loki looked at her with worry. Once (Y/N) finally got her room and looked back at Loki, he....didn't look at her at all. She even pulled back to stay and wait to see if he ever did, and he didn't.

"You know, I could imagine this with a Loki, but never with you. I thought you were better than him!" "I'm not better then anyone, Mobius! I thought you knew that!" All in this room was Mobius and (Y/N) sitting across from each other, well more of Mobius pacing while she sat down. He went on, "I mean seriously, you want to protect and save him with all your little heart, yet you don't stop him from doing any of this!" "Like the TVA was such a good place for either of us! We went after the person you wanted us to catch-" "No!" He yelled back. "You got blinded by your unreasonable love for Loki and let him drag you on a trip to his next massacre! That's all you are, his little servant girl!" She went silent with that one. "Can't you see you're nothing more to him?" Mobius said more gentle this time. (Y/N)'s eyes stayed on the table, still fighting back tears as he called in Minute Men to pick her up and throw her into another portal that was red this time.

She was in.....the cage back when her plan failed on Earth. When the Avengers captured her. What was this place? She started to hear heavy footsteps, making her breathing quicken. The doors opened to reveal...Loki? This was...after she explained all to him when she failed her mission. Was this some kind of time loop? "What have you done to me?!!" He yelled. She jumped up to her feet, quickly walking to the door before it opened. She was about to say something, but he already grabbed her by the neck and dragged her to one of the glass walls to start choking her. He looked very angry, "What have you done to me, witch?! You've lied to about everything, yet I still think of you nonstop!!" "L-Loki.....stop.." He didn't stop, only squeezed harder after that. "I.....love...you," She finally wheezed out. That's what made him drop her and walk off, leaving her coughing on the floor. What is this place?

The door opened again to Loki once more, "What have you done to me?!!" Yup, definitely a time loop. This wasn't going to happen again. Loki opened the door, but this time (Y/N) grabbed his wrist to stop him, "Wait, wait, wait! Please let me talk with you! I'm sorry, Loki!" He froze, backing up a bit to let her speak. "I'm sorry for lying to you! I didn't want you to feel like I was using you, I wanted to...to be there for you. I just want you to finally have your happy ending," She started to cry. Loki was still angry, but his face flattered as she stood there crying. None of them said a word, but he did step close to her. So close that he went to her ear and whispered, "Then why can't you save me from death?" What? His hands went to her arms, holding them tightly as she then tried to pry them off. "If you loved me, then why brain wash me into loving you back?" "I didn't brainwash you! I could never do that to you!"

"I had no choice! You didn't give me a choice, because you're selfish!! I can't love anyone else, because you won't let me!! You're killing me, (Y/N)!!" He started to yell. Finally pushing him away, when (Y/N) looked back up he was gone. Everything started to spiral out of control; tears ran down her face, her breathing started to go even faster, and head started to hurt. "I didn't brainwash him into loving me....I told him my story, and he fell for me himself. I would never do that!" She fell to her knees, "I couldn't have done that...right?"
