She slowly walked over to the large window behind him, looking at the timeline spread out into multiple branches already. This was bad. He know didn't know how things were going to go, because of nexus event so great it passed the red line. "So that's it? Loki asked. "This is what happens at the end of time? And now you're just gonna sit there with all that freedom and let us decide your fate?" "Yes! Yes, yes! What's the worst that can happen?" He gave him a pained smile. "You either take over and my life's work continues, or you plunge a blade in my chest and an infinite amount of me start another Multiversal War. And I end up right back here anyways," He chuckled stiffly. Sylvie denied it all, but Loki started to take his words into consideration. He even looked at (Y/N), and she didn't shoot him a glare this time, only a concerned look. He took off his little Tempad off his hand, laying it on the desk, "I love this. I love all this honesty." Just for caution's sake, (Y/N) started to analyze Sylvie and then went to talk to Loki in his head. "She's gearing up to try and kill him. We have to think more about this." "You're right, I'll try and talk with her."

She jumped up, only to have Loki pull her back. She turned to him and put the blade on his chest, "What are you doing?" "Let's just talk about this." (Y/N) walked beside him, pistols in hand, knowing that things were about to heat up. "How about we finish what we started and kill him?" She pushed Loki aside, and (Y/N) put up a shield around the guy. "Take a moment, and breath. We can't just kill him on the spot, there are consequences to these things," (Y/N) begged her. She panted, "So what are you suggesting?" "That we think about this." And his answer didn't make anything better. She then got it in her head that he just wanted the power. (Y/N) groaned, "Are you bloody stupid or what? If he wanted power, he would've killed you by now to get it and would been more accepting of his offer when it was first given." "You really are his pet!" "The fuck you say to me?!" Loki pushed (Y/N) back a bit to try and explain, but she didn't want to listen.

They had to fight, Sylvie wasn't giving any other option. (Y/N) cocked her guns while Loki and Sylvie ran at each other. Loki missed as she dodged his swing, but a scar formed on her cheek from the bullet that grazed her skin from (Y/N). Feeling the blood run down her face, Loki took this opportunity to spin kick her towards a book shelf. Sylvie jumped right back up, running towards He Who Remains before (Y/N) tackled her in a wall. Sylvie punched her in the back, knocking some of the wind out of her, but Loki took over trying to pin her down. She escaped his grasp, sliding behind him to try and take out his leg. Good thing (Y/N) is fast, protecting that area with her magic. He gave her a held back right hook, giving her a chance to stick her blade in the ground and spin kick him away from her into another wall. Trying to place the blade on his neck again, he blocked it with his own sword he got from Kid Loki, pushing her back slightly. In anger, she threw him away and went for the last defense at the moment, (Y/N).

They both ran at each other, Sylvie trying to stab her in the stomach, but (Y/N) blocked almost every swing. She got a hold onto Sylvie's wrist, getting a minute to punch her in the temple a few time. During this, she switched hands with her weapon, getting (Y/N) in her blind spot and slicing at her face. Her blade went across her left eye and over the bridge of her nose, making her scream out in pain. Her body hit the floor, holding her eye and groaning loudly. She started to hear the sounds of blades clashing still, but her right eye spotted He Who Remains gesturing her to come over to him.  She crawled over fast, having him quickly pull out a first aid kit and looked at her eye. He ended up using some to heal it fast, since her body was very different from a regular human. Either way, it was going to leave a scar and leave her partially blind.

It took a minute, but during it he asked her one question, "You know how much he's done. To you and others. Why do you still chase after him?" "Because no matter what, I want him to reach that happy ending." The fight continued on and they sat back and watched. "Even if he falls for her?" "Of course, it's bound to happen." Then the fight stopped with Loki just telling her to stop and her close to bursting to tears. "I've been where you are. I've felt what you're feeling. Don't ask me how I know." Loki started to cry as well. He continued, sniffling, "All I know...is I don't wanna hurt you. I don't want a throne. I just...I just want you to be okay." He...He used her words for her? She realized and that's when felt that last crack in her heart, when she kissed him. She wanted him to be happy, but she couldn't help not liking this. If he's happy...right?

Pulling away, she looked back at (Y/N), making her get up and slowly walk towards them. "(Y/N)...I'm-" "Shut your mouth..." (Y/N) didn't let her speak, it's because of her that her left eye didn't work. Loki looked over at her, mostly at her eye, trying to fix it. "I'm sorry," Sylvie said. "But I'm not you." A portal opened behind Loki and (Y/N), then Sylvie fired them through it to be back at the TVA. Loki tried to running to it, but it closed too quickly.

"Alright," (Y/N) quickly got up. "We need to go find Mobius...and....and," Her sentence slowed looking back at Loki. He was sitting there, tears running like a waterfall. She walked over to him, crouching down next to him, and reaching out to grab his hand. She hesitated a bit, but ended up gently grabbing his hand. He looked over at her, "I'm so sorry, Loki." He didn't say anything, only tightened his grip on her hand a bit. She waited for him in silence, letting his process and deal with it. "I get it...if you leave," He said. "I am a horrible person, and I crave attention. You've heard of all my problems, and yet I treat you poorly. I understand if you want to leave.." She looked sad, shaking her head, "No, no, no! I'm not leaving you." (Y/N) quickly got in front of him, holding his face in her hands. They looked straight at each other, locking eyes, "Do you really think I would leave you like that? Crying here, heart broken? I would never do that to you. No matter what happens, I'm going to stay by your side." His hands slowly grabbed hers, his thumb rubbing them lightly. "I..." She started, "I made a promise to myself the first time I saw you in front of that judge. I will help you reach your happy ending, and I don't care if I'm not in it. As long as you're happy, then I can sleep peacefully. I'm not leaving, and you can't make me."

They both had tears now, (Y/N) trying to wipe his away. He laughed sadly, pulling her hands away, "You really are stupid." She laughed as well. He noticed the scar on her face once more, touching it slightly and having her flinch away, "It's...still fresh." He nodded, keeping his eyes on her's. (Y/N) didn't move, so Loki started to lean towards her slowly. She finally realized what he was doing, putting her hand on his mouth.

"Loki, I love you from the bottom of my heart....but you have to stop," She told him. They kept from moving, "I love you so much, but I think you need to start loving yourself before trying to love me....or Sylvie...or anyone. I want you to get help, because I can't help you in that area. Okay?" He nodded slowly, having (Y/N) pick him up and both of them standing. "Let's go find Mobius and B-15," She smiled. He nodded and they were both off.

They both started walking down multiple halls, pass groups of Minute Men, trying to find Mobius and B-15. The next place they tried was the main hall, no sign of them. (Y/N) dragged him to the only place they could be now, the files area. She was right, Mobius and B-15 were already talking and looking at his Tempad. "At this point, how are we even going to stop it?" Mobius said to B-15. Loki yelled out to them, "We can't!" They walked up to them, "We've made a terrible mistake." It was stuck in Loki's throat, so (Y/N) told it for him. "We freed the timeline. We found the creator beyond the storm, a citadel at the end of time." Loki's sentences started to blend together, but (Y/N)'s attention was pulled away by something. "Take it easy. You're an analyst, right?" Mobius asked him. Loki looked confused at him, backing up slightly. (Y/N) grabbed his arm and pointed at the statues, making him look in horror. It wasn't the Timekeepers anymore, it was just He Who Remains.

"Sylvie, what have you done?" (Y/N) whispered to herself.
