Research

It had just gone 4pm. You walked through the compound doors and headed towards the elevator, to go to your room. You heard mumbles coming from the living area and kitchen.

Y/n: "I'm doing research for a project in my room. And don't come in."

You shouted making it known you were home from school. And with that, the elevator doors opened, to which you stepped inside and waited until the doors opened again.

You pushed open your bedroom door and let your bag fall off your arm. You slammed the door, they laying face down on your bed. You let out a deep and long sigh, trying to release the unwanted tension out of your body. It didn't work. You were in a bad mood and didn't know why. School wasn't difficult for you, as you were very smart but also popular.

You contemplated on whether or not you should do your homework. 30 minutes have past and you've decided not to do it. You got your laptop out and opened YouTube.

~TIME SKIP~

Its now been 2 hours of watching YouTube videos. You were relaxed and now currently watching clips of cute animals. As usual, nothing ever seems to stay peaceful. You were just just sat laughing at one of the clips, when you were interrupted by a knock on your door. You huffed and rolled your eyes before saying, 'come in'.

The door opened and in walked your girlfriend.

Nat: "Dinners ready if you're coming down for it. How's the research going?"

She asked, whilst walking over to you and your laptop that was lay on the bed. She stopped and looked at the video on your screen. You avoided her now staring at you, looking down.

Nat: "I thought you said you were doing research?"

Y/n: "I am"

Nat: "You're watching YouTube videos"

Y/n: "Same thing"

You huffed and lay down placing your head in a pillow. Nat could tell something was wrong, so she moved your laptop and lay in bed next to you. She was running her fingers through your hair and you were nearly asleep.

Anyway you talked to her about your day and she helped you with your project.

This is another prompt write. Sorry if it's bad, I wrote this instead of doing my work. More updates should be posted soon, I've got a schedule now for writing and posting, including TikToks. Anyway, I hope you're all staying safe and well. :)
