Welcome to the neighborhood

I took my last look at my room, before I walked downstairs. When I got the door where my mom was, she asked me was I ready. I nodded and we proceeded to the taxi wait for us. My mom had her car flown to LA, because she didn't want to drive it. I don't blame her either.

After we landed we took another taxi to out 'New Home'.You'd think I would be excited to be here in LA, Since it was cold back in Chicago, because of the winters approach, but no I'm good its nothing.

I walked into our new house on the base. it doesn't look the same as the others we've lived.

Our furniture wasn't here yet, it should be here in an hour or so. At least that's what my Mom told me. It's coming in a semi-truck,just as usal.

I need to find something to to while I'm waiting, I'm so bored. My mom went to check herself in, normal. Jaden went lord knows where. More than likely he went to park we passed by coming here. It had a basketball court. Jada, she's in her phone talking to her 'boyfriend/baby daddy' back in Chicago.

I get up, tell Jada I'd be back. she waved me off. I rolled my eyes then walked out the door. I decided to go to the park. On the way, I was examining the place I would be calling home for lord knows how long. The neighborhood was filled with dogs. Speaking of dogs, our new neighbor has at three Pitbulls. Who are kinda annoying, yet cute at the same time. I don't have a dog I wish I did though.

I approached the basketball court, we I soon Jaden playing a game with five other guys. I walked over and sat on the very top of the bleachers.

A little boy came up to me after I sat down. He was the cutest thing ever, He was smiling at me showing off his deep dimples. it was adorable. This little boy had the most adorable eyes ever, as well.

"well hello cutie"I smiled

"Hi, I'm Cameron" he said. "what's your name" he asked

"I'm Jaylen"I answered. He came closer to my ear, to tell me something.

"You're pretty" he whispered. I looked at him then he giggled.

"thank you" I said.

I like this little boy already, he's so cute and charming.

After I was there for like 10 minutes, I was suddenly hit in the face by the ball causing me to fall back off the bleachers. Great, first day here and I'm already getting hit in the face and falling off bleachers. Thank god the was grass caught my fall and the bleachers weren't that high up.

I groaned as I tried to sit up. I heard scrambling of feet coming towards me.

"Are you okay?" I heard a deep voice say. I turned my face toward where the voice came from. I was surrounded by a group of boys, including Jaden.

"Jaylen?" Jaden said.

"dude you know her?" one if the boys asked.

"yea, that's my little sister" Jaden said helping me up. I dusted myself off.

"You okay?" Jaden asked. I nodded.

"what are you doing here, anyway?" he asked

"I don't know, I was just bored"I answered, just then my phone started ringing in the pocket. I took it out and my moms name flashed across the screen, I answered.

My mom told us we had to come home. She mentioned something about meeting someone, or something like that.

As Jaden and I walked up to the driveway the semi-truck was leaving and my mother was having a chat with who I'm guessing are our new neighbors. It was a Man and a Woman. I suppose they were together, judging by the way the Man had his arm wrapped around the Woman's waist. Jada was standingnext to my mom with one the fakest smiles ever.I chuckled to myself at the sight.

"oh there you two are" my mom exclaimed as we approached them. "Jaylen, Jaden meet Sergeant and Major August" she introduced. My mom is also a Sergeant, just thought I'd put that out there.

"Welcome to the neighborhood" the couple said

I smiled and firmly shook their hands, saying nice to meet you. "they have a son your age Jaylen" My Mom gushed. I nodded.

Here one thing about my mom not many know. She is for some reason obsessed with me finding a boyfriend. It's a goal of hers. I personally don't think I need a boyfriend, but she does. Once she asked me was I a lesbian. She was blunt when she asked me. I am not a lesbian, no offense to the ones who are. I like boys but I just never had an interest in having a boyfriend. Relationships just aren't for me.

"we also have another son Cameron, he's 5......" The Woman trailed off. Cameron? I just met a Cameron. I wonder if its the same little boy.

"Here they come right now" Major August said. We all turned around. To my surprise, it was the little boy I just met, and his brother was one of the boys Jaden was playing basketball with.
