2 Month later

"Let's go Jay-Jay!!! If you don't like it, don't swing at it" I heard my team cheer. If you haven't noticed, I'm at a game, in the middle of it actually and I'm batting.

Where down by 2 points, the bases are loaded, 1 out and all I have to do is try to hit a homerun. I have two strikes and 2 balls. For those who don't know, a ball in Softball, is when the pitcher pitches the ball above your chest or below your knees and if you get four of these than you get to go to first base.

"Let's go number 8!" I heard some one say, from the stands. I'm number 8!

The ball was pitched and I was hit on my thigh. I dropped the bat and held my thigh. This is gonna leave a bruise, you would know if you seen how the girl was pitching.

"are you okay!" Coach Brown asked, I nodded.

"Take your base" the umpire said. This means I can go to first base, and we score a point, since the girl on third base, Alyssa, had to move on. That was an easy point, not we need someone else score us at most 3 points. Right now I don't know if we can, when Alicia's up to bat. She doesn't suck at batting, she's just not known to hit the ball out that far.

Speaking of Alicia, her and Roc broke up yesterday, because her jealousy got the best of her, causing her to assume Roc and I were doing things together, if you know what I mean. My Nana told me once before she passed away, 'When you Assume things, you make an @ss out of u and me'. I will never forget that saying, but Alicia doesn't like me and that's fine with me.

As far as I know, Roc and I are friends....close-friends, but we're kinda at the 'Boo' stage. The 'Boo' stage is almost like, first base, but not quite. The 'Boo' stage to me is when things between you and someone else become a little bit more friendly.

"Run! Run! Run!" I was cut out of my day dream, by everyone screaming for us to run. I hadn't even realized, Alicia had just hit a homerun. Yes, the ball actually went over the fence. It's really shocking.

After I made it to home plate, I went back into the dug out. I took my helmet off and sat it on the shelf above the bench. Then I took a seat, next to one of the managers.

When the game was over, it was late. It started getting dark during the Varsity game since, JV played first. It was around, 8:30 when we left the other school. We just arrived to our school and its almost 9:15, I'm not really tired. I do know I need to get rest for tomorrow.

Oh I almost forgot to tell you guys, the boy's basketball team is flying to Oakland in the morning, for their championship. Madison was already going to go since she became manager and I'm going to fill in the other manager's spot, since he got sick. Even if I wasn't filling in a spot I probably wouldn't be going.

Jaden was already here waiting for me to come off the bus. My Aunt MiMi and Jada where at home. Oh about last time, Jada didn't have her baby, she's still pregnant. Apparently she was having some pain she couldn't handle, that's all. She fine now, though. I found out that she's have a boy, and I'm really excited.

I took all my bags with me off the bus. I put them in the trunk of the car and got in on the passenger, not knowing there was anyone in the backseat. At least not until, I heard Madison congratulate me on our win, she was the only one in the back seat.

When we got home there wasn't much conversation. I went upstairs to my room, with Madison following behind me. I didn't see my Aunt. I threw my bags and kicked my Jordan slides to one side of my room. I then grabbed my towel, walked in the bathroom and stripped down to talk a shower.

After showering I changed into something comfortable, then I went down stairs to the kitchen where I found Aunt MiMi sitting on a stool, in front of the island. She was eating ice cream. I didn't see Madison though.

"hey, you seen Madison?" I asked. As I walked to the other side of the island.

"Yea, she went next door to Rocket's house" She said. I have no idea why she calls Chresanto that, but he doesn't seem to mind. It might be because he's secretly terrified of her, at least that's what I think.

"thanks" I said before I walked away heading for the door. I knew the only reason Madison would be at roc's house was because of Craig, her boo. They've been attached to each other since the day the ditched us at the ice cream shop.

I walked over to Chresanto's house and knocked on the door like the police. I thought I'd have a little fun. After a few minutes of me knocking, the door swung open. Chresanto opened the door. He looked at me in relief. He didn't have a shirt on, but it didn't faze me because I was kinda used to it. Beside, I see Jaden walk around the house all the time with out a shirt.

"Dvmn girl! knockin' like you the police" he said. All I could do was laugh.

"Can I come in?" I asked

"Sure" He stepped aside letting me walk in.

"Roc who's at the door" I heard Ray say from the living.

Walking into the living room I immediately, seen Ray, Craig, Madison, and Jacob sitting in different spots of the living room. They were watching TV. Even Jaden was here.

"My N!gga, Jaylen" Ray said before giving me an unannounced tight hug. if he had of hugged any tighter he probably would have killed me. Everything's good though, Ray and I are tight like that. Ray let go and I walked over to the edge of couch next to Roc and sat.

"So what have yall been up to?" I asked

"Nothing at all" Roc answered

"wow you guys are wack" I said

"Wack? you have anything else in mind?" Roc asked

"How bout we watch a movie or something?" Madison suggested

"As long as it's not a chick flick. I'm good" Ray said.

We finally made a decision on the movie we were going to watch, Columbiana. It's literally my favorite movie. During the movie, I slide down onto the couch causing Roc to move a little, but then he grabbed my waist and pulled me into his lap. I wasn't sure if I should stay here, then I was like who cares. This is definitely First base.

[A/N: I really do love the movie Columbiana.]
