New Girl

Today is my first day of school, as well as Jaden and Jada's, except Jada will be going to a different part of the school's campus. It's mainly for girls in her situation, the program just started over a year ago.

You may think its a little crazy how we have to start school on the second day of we've been here, but when you have a mom like mines that's just how things go. Education is our main priority. My siblings and I have always got good grades, call us nerds but that's how things have always been

When we got to the school my mom went in with us for a few minutes, just to make sure everything was right. Since it was, she left, saying she would see us after school. Since the secretary was gone the counselor gave us our schedules, and locker information.

Jaden, Jada and I all walked our separate ways, in search of our classes. My first class was US History, even though it was fourth period, because my mom thought it would be a good idea if we went out for breakfast. So were late and lunch is next period.

When I walked inside oft he class, immediately all eyes were on me, the new girl. After a brief talk with the teacher, Mr. King , I took a seat in the only available seat in the back of the class, next to this girl named Madison I was just introduced to.

At the End of Class, the bell rang of lunch. All the students in the class swarmed out into the hallway. I was in no rush to get to the cafeteria, since I had just eaten.

On the way to the cafeteria, I spotted Jaden sitting outside in the school's court yard with a group boys, one including our neighbor, Chresanto. I thought about going out there but then I decided not to. and I kept walking.

I walked in the cafeteria and sat an empty table. I pulled out my phone and looked at the updated on Twitter and Instagram.

After sitting at the table for less than 15 minutes, a group of girls gathered around in front of me. I looked up at then to see if they were going to sit down.

"you're sitting in my spot" one of the girls said.

"So?" I said

"So move or I'll move you myself" She said. Really? did she really just say she was going to move me herself?

"Right! you're going to move me yourself. good luck with that because I'm not going anywhere" I chuckled. The whole cafeteria got quite, quick.

"Do you know who your talking to?" she said

"If I said 'I care' I would be lying " I said. You can't really blame me for sticking up for myself.

"Alicia! just leave her alone, you can sit at another table" I deep voice said

I turned around seeing Chresanto, My brother and some other guys.

"Chres!" she whined

"Come on" he said, as he grabbed her waist and guided her away from the table.

I seen Jaden smirk at me and come sit next to me. "You back at it again huh?" He smirked

"I don't know what you're talkin' bout' I said.

I actually do know what he was talking about. Jaden thinks I'm mean and rude to everyone at every school I've gone to. I disagree with him completely.

"Whatever, but hey I'm thinkin about skipping last period, you down" he said in a voice low enough for me to hear.

"Yea, I'm down" I said

So what it's our first day of school, we do what we want and still have fantastic grades. Plus it's Thursday and we don't have school tomorrow, for a reason I don't know.

"Alright, meet me in the gym after 6th period" he said before walking away.
