Lies

-by morenaversion (R.M.G.)

A pair of socks you are wearin'
Same colors in blue, often you choose for a plain.
An alibi beneath your eye says,
A gleam of light straight to my face.

My name you write in the clouds disappeared so fast.
Painted as a masterpiece,
Skies, morning fogs, and bees in the trees.
I've waited - hands cold as your frozen soul,
How could I stand there for you as a fool?

An old song you sang for me,
In a wide hall, brings back the memory.
Dancing with lights, like a fireflies in the night.
Awhile you stop, letting go of my hand.
Cast by bitterness, memories are gone.

Songs from you, I don't own for now.
Promises- you never take them somehow.
Once I had your never-ending stories,
Not suprised they are all like about fairies.

Whisper like a sweet lullaby,
Like a sun kiss welcomes the summer sky.
And the embrace at night,
Feels so right as a perfect "goodnight".

Waiting to be awaken,
Why are you so mean?
So much for the lie,
Again, you can never make me cry.
